Philadelphia, PA – According to police, a woman said she was was standing at a SEPTA bus stop late Sunday evening, when an unknown male grabbed her, choked her, and forced her towards the entrance of a subway where he brutally raped her. The woman described the assailant as a black-haired Hispanic male who stands about 5’7″ and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He may not be too hard to find – police believe dude left his pants and his wallet at the scene. Inside the wallet, a Mexican ID belonging to one Dario Gomez Lopez. Authorities are investigating whether the driver’s license actually belongs to the suspect, but say the picture matches the victim’s description. Surveillance video from the area of the attack shows the alleged rapist running from the scene in a pair of boxers, a T-shirt and work boots. Authorities are asking anyone with information to please call call the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit at 215-685-3261.
