Mom, 19, Accused Of Biting Infant

Dallas, TX - Danielle Lewis, 19, took her 5-week-old infant to Children’s Medical Center Dallas at 9:00 p.m. on August 17 to have him treated for numerous injuries. At 3:00 a.m. on August 18, Lewis walked out of the hospital without the infant boy – she said she no longer wanted him. It’s probably because the kid tasted bad or something. The infant was found to be suffering from several human bite marks to both shoulders, his upper and middle back, left buttocks and left thigh. On top of that, he had contusions and severe bruising to his back and buttocks area and abrasions on his genitals. Seems Lewis had a rather fussy baby on her hands, and like many other dolts who have graced the pages of the Dreamin’ Demon, she attempted to soothe and quiet the child by causing physical pain. The baby boy, believed to be Lewis’ only child, has been placed in state custody and continues to recover from his injuries. Lewis has been caged and charged with felony injury to a child. Bail has been set at $15,000. Thanks, Dakota!

      Seriously, WTF is up with BITING infants? I'm sure I'd have to borrow some other person's fingers to count on this site alone the number of little ones bitten by those supposed to be caring for them. I'm completely floored by this notion that BITING solves anything, and I have a hard time imagining that such a practice speaks to some sort of ingrained genetic prerogative. Shit, if you're going to BITE them, why not just eat them?

      It doesn't make any damn sense. Let me have all my teeth sharpened and send these bitches to me. Betcha I'd be more effective than even a golden spork.

      Good thing this baby won't be going back to this woman! But…what I don't get is. If she was going to give him up anyway, why didn't she do it before she bit/(whatever else she did) to him? Why not give him up before it came to that?

      Most be the same mentality that caused Mary Bale to throw a cat in the garbage not too long ago. I personally feel that people that do this kind of thing, probably set out looking to hurt someone or something every day of their lives. Then when they get caught, they claim it is an isolated incident.

      I think the only answer to the questions “Why do these people bite their children”, and “what sort of person bites an infant to quiet them down” is that some people are so mentally defective that they constantly act on impulse. They're like children themselves. Thats no justification for their actions though, because even children can learn to control themselves and to think about how their actions affect other people. The kindest, and wisest thing this “mother” did was to give her child up so he has a better chance at life. While I believe she deserves to face serious consequences for what she did to this child, I also think that this person (I cant say woman, because while she's obviously female, I think being a “woman” requires a little more than just the right body parts) also needs some sort of councelling. She needs guidance, severely. Perhaps some sort of mental help.

HELLO causing pain will only make an infant more vocal and achieve the opposite of what these fucktards are trying to accomplish!
