Inebriated Jackass Drags Dog Behind Truck

August 6, 2010 at 8:59 am by

Kingfisher, OK – Nicholas Carson, 26, is being slapped with animal cruelty charges because the boozed-up imbecile neglected to untie his dog from the back bumper of his truck before setting off down the road – dragging the poor critter behind the vehicle for more than 5 miles. A witness to the grisly event called police after attempts to get Carson to pull over failed. An officer finally caught up with the idiot and his two passengers as he pulled into a WalMart parking lot. When the officer approached Carson, he noticed a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage” about his “body and breath,” and Carson reportedly admitted to having a few drinks. An ice chest containing rum, whiskey and beer was present in the vehicle. Once the handcuffs were on, the officer walked Carson to the back of his truck and pointed out the bloody mess that used to be a dog. The officer stated Carson then began crying and screaming,“Oh my God, my dog!” The passengers were allowed to walk and the shitstain was hauled off to the joint. He’s looking at a DUI on top of the animal cruelty charges.

Horrific, although he appeared to have done this out of stupidity rather than cruelty. Still, it might be merited to have him have to run while tied behind a truck for five miles.

That poor dog. But, hell, at least it was an accident. That's more than we can say about most cases like this. Was just reading a horrid story about a bunny:

I SO wish he would be tied to the bumper and dragged. *grumbles*

  • aka jas

    He is no Clark Griswold!

Oh ouch that made my stomach hurt.

As I always say, people with IQ's less than 50 should not procreate or have any animals, goldfish included. What a douche

In the movie it was funny. Because as horrific as it was, you knew it was not real. This is really sad. I think the name shitstain fits him nicely.

What a terrible way to die for that poor dog. Hopefully this will be a wake-up call for this guy to lay off the sauce or at least drink more responsibly.

I NEVER liked that scene in NLV. Even though I really like that movie, alot, with the exception of that scene !

  • Miss Doyle

The dog is still dead, accident or not…………and died a horrible and painful death !

    Cuz of negligance !

I am sooooo sick and tired of people ( not just here on DD ) using the word “accident” when the correct word is NEGLIGANCE !!!!!!!!!!

    Some examples,

parent leaves pool with toddler near it and you know what happens. That is NOT AN ACCIDENT !!!! It is NEGLIGANCE !!

Drunk driver kills someone…and everyone, including the media use the term “accident” when the CORRECT term is NEGLIGANCE !!

  • Miss Doyle

…..also this is another story fom Oklahoma. What the hell goes on in that state ?

  • Sugarglider1

Or, rather, “negligence.” Also, “negligent” and “accident” are not mutually exclusive terms. It's horrible that this dog died, and I have no problem with him being held responsible and charged (indeed, I applaud it), but I'm not going to say I find this case MORE upsetting than a case in which someone does such a thing on purpose and is therefore not guilty of negligence but of deliberately causing suffering and pain.

For the record— I Love dogs.

I just moved from Cashion which is the next town over from Kingfisher. It's a tiny little country town with pretty much nothing for the young people to do but drink sadly. I've actually spent a little time in the Kingfisher jail. Cakewalk.

    Or drive!

  • Deety

I actually double-checked the story to see if his name was shitstain. Sadly, it is not.

  • Drs

I actaully know this guy!! He is destroyed by this

I bet his dog is too.

I'm sure he is and fucking should be. I've had my dog for seven years, since he was a pup. I love him and would be devastated if anything happened to him. You have to take care of your pets. I worry now when it gets hot about leaving him in my van, even if the windows are down. This dumbass will have to live with what he did because of his stupid druckeness. Because he was all wasted his poor dog suffered a horrible death, and he will have to live with that. Maybe he should sober the fuck up. What the fuck is he doing tying the dog to the bumper anyway. You might forget especially if your getting wasted with your buddies. I have no sympathy for this jackass.

I'm just glad as soon as he saw the mess even in his drunken stupor you could tell he was feeling worse than worst.

I actually know this guy in real life and was at the house he came from, the dog had been getting a little to rough around some of the kids so he tied him to the back of his truck. Later on he left with none of us thinking anything of it but he had in fact had a few drinks but not over the limit or his wife would of driven. He was devastated by this and it was a total accident but still could of been prevented.
