Toby Cundiff Charged With Repeatedly Raping 7-Year-Old Girl

This one comes from one of our readers who asked if we could put this story up on the front page. After reading the story, I was more than happy to oblige. Police say that 31-year-old Toby Cundiff repeatedly raped the child from June 2005 to November 2009 starting when she was 7-years-old. The girl, now a teenager, told her mother recently who then went to police. Since the alleged assaults took place in two different townships, Cundiff got the “kitchen sink” treatment. East Lampeter police charged him with with rape, rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors. Warwick Township police charged him with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent exposure, corruption of minors, open lewdness and indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age. Cundiff is probably on his way to being as fucked as the girl he allegedly raped, and is sitting in Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $400,000 bail.

      The “kitchen sink treatment” must be referring to the fact that they charged him with the proverbial “everything except the kitchen sink”.

      He'll end up pleading to some of it avoid getting put *under* the gaol.

      I read about these waste of protoplasms that rape little girls and I, like most people, want to take their skin off in long strips with pliers. However, I also wonder how a grown man can fit his “junk” into a tiny seven old vaggie. I mean I would never qualify as a stand in for John Holmes but get real. How can they fit? Of course having never actually seen a seven year olds vagina I am just making assumptions I guess.

      Which is why a lot of small children need reconstructive surgery, and can be left with permanent injuries to the point that they'll never be able to carry a child.

I've known toby since i was 6 years old and i know he would never do anything like that ever!! I know the mother and her daughter to, the people who made up this lie!!!       I have been known to be wrong on occasion, and yes, I have apologized – as have many others on this site. Now I have a question for you….if he is found guilty by a jury of his peers, will you come back here and admit you were wrong?

      As a convicted child killer and — at least in the prosecutor's eyes — pedophile, Toby Cundiff would be a likely candidate for a segregated prison unit.
      A lot of inmates have problems with (offenders who victimize children), They have a hard time making it in the general prison population.
      It's not unusual for inmates to demand to see the sentencing papers of new arrivals to learn about their crimes and then attack or otherwise intimidate those who have brutalized children — or who will not disclose their offense. Moreover, in Cundiff's case many inmates certainly know from news coverage that he killed a child.
      He's received a lot of publicity, and inmates do watch a lot of TV.
      After the evaluation process, Cundiff would be transferred to a special needs yard prison and housed with others who need protection, including pedophiles and gang “dropouts,” as well as older prisoners who petition corrections officials to be moved away from younger, more younger aggressive inmates (BUBBA'S) in the general population.
      The facilities and daily routine in the special yards are identical to those of the general population. Cundiff, would live in a three-bedroom house worth $450,000, would share a 6-by-8-foot cell with one other person. Inmates with a history of violence against other prisoners get private cells.
      Each day, corrections officers gently wake prisoners at 8 a.m. and march them to breakfast at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00, inmates either go to work, school or the prison yard. The work available to prisoners will be quite different than the work Cundiff did in his customer bird house business. Prisoners manufacture circuit boards, repair appliances and do prison bookeeping, and are paid minimum wage. A portion of the earnings goes to restitution and to reimburse taxpayers for the prison costs.
      Vocational and academic classes are offered to maximum-security prisoners. Cundiff could finish high school and possibly earn an associates, or bachelor's degree from a junior college, or university while in prison at your dime! but many of the prisoners lack basic skills and anyone with a less than a sixth grade education must attend school.
      In the typical special needs prison, about 200 inmates mill about the yard on any given day like zombies, quietly huddling in groups, and probably earning their masters degrees in more skeevyness!
      There are chin-up bars and handball and basketball courts, and a full free weight/nautilus gym, several olympic sized pools, steam rooms, jacuzzi's, and even a private masseuse!
      At midday, prisoners return to their cells for a headcount and then are marched to lunch, those who get back early, and would rather have brunch, and a relaxing nap before school do so. After several more hours at school, work or the yards, the prisoners eat dinner. They can make phone calls and take showers after dinner. At 9 p.m. everyone is locked in their cells. The inmates are allowed to read, listen to the radio or watch television in their cells.
      During weekend visiting hours, prisoners can meet with their family and friends in large prison gathering rooms. They can have physical contact with their visitors, and conjugal visits.
      So I fear these pervs will either learn a vocation where they will come into our homes (circuit boards, repair appliances and do prison bookeeping), or earn a higher education degree and fool all the people around them into babysitting for uncle chester, and become massively muscled to boot!
      We need to get tougher on crime demonites!

      i will, but for now i am praying that he is found innocent, and they prosecute the mother of the girl. i will be going to court and telling them what the mother had said and when she started planning to do it! but i will admitt to being wrong if he is foung guilty.

      I have been friends of the family for years. Toby has had problems growing up and I have heard that he has continued to have problems in his adult life. It is really tragic all around and I have been having a tough time with this since I have heard the news a few days ago.

      If/when Toby is found guilty of these grotesque charges, and man does he ever deserve if he is guilty, I hope that he gets the help he needs.

      It sucks and I have been mulling this over for days now. I feel bad for his family they are very nice people. I was in the same class with some of them, and was really good friends with them growing up. Please at least pray for them so they can get through what this kids disgusting actions have done to them.

      Last but certainly not least – Pray for this little girl. Pray that she is released from the pain, mentally and physically. Pray that she can have a normal life.

      A better question would be is “why did it take the mother so long to pay attention to what her daughter was going thru”? In my opinion she should be charged with negligence and child endangerment.
