Cleveland, OH - The 15-year-old boy just couldn’t stand to see his brother being abused any longer, so he decided to do something about it. “My little brother is downstairs tied up to a table and he’s trying to get out,” said the young caller to a 911 dispatcher. “Who did this to him?” asked the dispatcher. “My mom makes my sister tie him up every night or she gets beat.” When police arrived at the home from where the call originated, sure as shit, there was a kid tied to a coffee table. The boy was hog-tied with duct tape and a shoestring around his neck and feet tied him to the table. His parents, 37-year-old Andreia Huffman and 32-year-old Jason Dunikowski, were sound asleep nearby. After freeing the kid from the table, the responding officers discovered discoloration in the boys hands and feet, indicating he had been tied up for quite some time, and it appeared as if his nose had been broken. Now that mom and dad were awake, they had some ‘splainin to do. Huffman indicated that she ordered her 17-year-old daughter to tie the boy up. Another child in the home told officers that Huffman not only ordered the teen to tie the boy up, she also demanded that the girl slam her little brother’s face into the wall. “I am not the only one who does it,” Huffman reportedly yelled, “and I’m not the only one that’s going to get in trouble.”
The 15-year-old boy stepped forward once again and told officers that Huffman has repeatedly slammed the younger boy’s face into the wall and pointed to a crack in said wall. An officer had the boy stand next to the crack and determined the crack matched up precisely to his face. When an officer asked Huffman why she didn’t seek medical care for the child, she replied, “Because I just didn’t.” Is it just me, or does Huffy come across as a snide and snotty bitch? Dunikowski, father to 5 of the 9 children in the home, admitted that he knew about the child being restrained and abused. Well, DUH! He was asleep next to the coffee table when the cops showed up. “You did it, too,” Huffman screamed. I think I probably would have shot her at some point during questioning. The 8-year-old reportedly tugged on an officer’s pant leg and pointed at a piece of wood wrapped in duct tape. “They hit me with that,” he said. After another child confirmed the ongoing abuse, the questioning was over. Huffman and Dunikowski were arrested for domestic violence and child endangerment. Though all 9 children were removed from the home, the 8-year-old seems to be the only one who was abused.
Huffy’s mother, who resides in Kentucky, says she isn’t surprised and she’s glad her daughter is behind bars. “That’s good,” she exclaimed. “Don’t let her get those kids back.” I agree with you, Huffy’s mom. One of Huffy’s neighbors kinda cracked me up when he was being interviewed on camera. “I heard noises but I couldn’t detect whether it was just playing or what,” he said. “Normally if they’re being abused I can tell an abuse scream from a regular scream, usually.” Heh…Tags: Child Abuse, Child Endangerment, Cleveland, Crime, Domestic Violence, duct tape, Mugshot, Ohio, restraint
