Walgreen’s Reports Photos of Man Sodomizing Infant Son

St. George, UT - Officers responded to a call on Tuesday from a photo technician at a Walgreen’s photo lab. Workers developing film  had concerns about several photos that appeared to show an infant being raped by an adult male. Officers determined that at least two photos were definitely sexually explicit and even met the state statute for sodomy. Even though the film had been left at the store under another name, Sergio Diaz-Palomino, 34, was identified by store staff as having turned in the film to be processed. The officers went to Diaz-Palomino’s home to interview him, and he said the boy in the photos is his son. Diaz-Palomino also claimed the child’s mother was the person responsible for taking the pictures of him and the baby boy. Diaz-Palomino was arrested for sodomy on a child and sexual exploitation of a minor and is being held on $70,000 bail. So far, he does not appear to have any past criminal record involving sex crimes against children. Police are now looking for the child’s mother. They are trying to locate her to learn the welfare of the infant and also determine what her culpability is in the case.

      Just great dad. That's the picture every father carries in their wallet. You must be so proud.

      Have fun trying to explaining that to your son in 15 years. Did they really think they would be able to turn that film in and not get caught?

      I just had a thought–what if the mom was too afraid to go to cops, so she turned the film into Walgreens in the hopes that the clerk would do the right thing and calls the cops? I know she's still a coward for not giving him a bit of lead therapy to cure him of his little hobby, but hopefully they'll be able to catch up with her, make sure the baby is okay, and determine her level of involvement in this.

      I hope she had nothing to do with it, and the kid will be safe from now on…but these things are never that simple, are they?

      Okay. Maybe he took the photos himself, too. I sure hope so–one shitty parent is bad enough. I hope they found the kiddo and are getting him treatment as well. Most “sodomy” laws I've heard of call both oral and anal sex “sodomy,” so I'm hoping it was just oral and that there's no permanent damage to the baby.

      Prosecutors have dropped the charges against a St. George couple after determining that there was no sexual intent in photographs first reported as depicting the sexual abuse of a one-year-old boy.

      A Walgreen Drug Store employee reported the photographs on March 9, but the ensuing investigation found “the evidence in this case does not demonstrate that the defendant intended to sexually molest or harm his child,” according to a motion to dismiss filed and signed just before 5 p.m. on Friday.

      A forensic medical examination of the child showed no evidence of sexual abuse, and interviews with the parents were inconsistent with any intent to sexually assault the child, prosecutors said. It appeared Diaz-Palomino was kissing the baby all over the body that were “consistent with traditional family photos of a proud father with his son,” according to the documents.

      “(The parents’) explanations were consistent with the images, showing kind of a doting father, a proud father with his first son,” said Ryan Shaum, lead attorney for the Washington County Attorney’s Office.

      The charges may have been dropped, but the couple remains in custody, and could be deported, as they are Mexican nationals.

      Okay, another case of needing to add a special insult to injury sentence for not only committing a heinous crime but for being stupid enough to film it and take the film to be developed commercially. Maybe they could cut off his dick and sew it onto his forehead. I guess I'm in a really heinous mood tonight and need to take it out on some horrific waste of space like this puke who should not be allowed to breathe the same air as decent or at least not completely vile people.

      Does anyone know how this ended? The US Gov’t kicked poor Sergio to the curb, and had a hearing set for his wife, but they hadn’t given her baby back when the hearing was due to occur in a few days.

      This doesn’t seem right. Couldn’t they have been naturalized instead of f***ed when it was proven they hadn’t done anything wrong?
