DAYTONA BEACH, Fla – Whenever I’m having one of those days where everyone’s on my case from my teacher all the way down to my best girlfriend, I just check out news from Florida. You can always be guaranteed a laugh or two. For example, Stefanie Vargas, 19, and her 13-year-old partner in crime, Kristian Amezquita who were recently arrested and charged with burglary to a conveyance. They broke into a car and while inside it, inadvertently called 911. So for about 6 minutes dispatchers got to listen to the two as they looted the vehicle and argued over what to steal. They also listened to words of wisdom such as “You got to break the SIM card. Take that SIM card out. They can trace it. If there’s nothing there, leave it. Trust me, God always works in mysterious ways. If you be greedy, that’s when you get caught up, alright?” The pair had no clue that police where on their way so when officers arrived to arrest them, the two idiots still had the stolen items in their hands. You can listen to the call by clicking here. Check out the video after the jump, and meet the boy and his mother.

This kid knows what right and wrong is. He is old enought to know better. Stop the excuses and admit your an idiot.

i think mom should make her son take some personal accountability for his actions, instead of blaming it solely on the other lady. she is older, but 13 is well old enough to know you shouldn't be breaking into cars.

  • absynthe

ya gotta put your phone on lock so it doesn't pocket dial dumb asses.

I can't help but laugh at the mother trying to use big words!!

Yes, Mom, your son is ever so innocent! I'm sure he was just preparing to attend church when the big bad girl held him against his will and forced him to burglarize a car. He didn't know what he was doing; yeah, right!!

  • tenente

yeah but you could clearly hear the kid resisting over that 911 call. In fact, I'm pretty sure I heard him several times say “shit this is wrong! we need to leave let me go!”
Oi, I dunno what bugs me more, the fact that people like them exist, or that it sounds like cops are actually going to believe he didn't really know what he was doing…

When I was like 13 my cousin, my brother, and I would walk around parking lots for unlocked cars and steal change from them to go play video games. We didn't get caught, so of course we progressed. We were soon walking around our own neighborhood and stealing more than just change. One time we got into the glove box of my neighbor's truck and found a wallet that contained, I'm sure, this guy's entire paycheck. Our selfish little bastard selves took $20 out for each of us ($60). At least we left the rest, but I will never forget that. I feel guilty about it even to this day. I almost wish we would have gotten caught in the parking lots, at least my neighbor would't have been $60 short. But after that, we felt so guilty, we never ever stole from cars (or anywhere else) again. I'm glad these guys DID get caught. It will teach them lessons. Who knows, if they didn't get caught, they may have graduated on to more serious crimes.

So, I'm assuming that's Stefanie in the picture. I couldn't watch the report because my job always blocks all the good stuff. I mean, that's either a kinda boyish girl or either an effeminate guy.

Haa haa haa dummies! Good evidence, LOL!

That kid is an old hand you can bet at thieving- his sister is a stripper (good job mom) whose girl friend is a thief-
They all needed money- that's why they steal
Who wants to bet none of the three can pass a drug test
There is a whole lifestyle that goes with stripping – umm I'd say there aren't any innocents in this tale.
