Man Attacks Mother Over World Of Warcraft, Shot By Grandfather

MANATEE COUNTY, FL. – I really wanted to put this guy up last week, but I was sick and didn’t give a shit. But now I feel better and figure I would get him posted so 8 months from now family members will come on and tell us to “we aint god and aint got no write two judge.” Last Thursday, 27-year-old James Swan was drinking and playing “World of Warcraft” in a room he shares with some younger siblings. He was getting loud and belligerent so his mother, 50-year-old Hazel Summerall, came in and told him to keep it down. Swan responded by grabbing his mother by the hair and throwing her on the bed. He did the same to a younger brother. When his mother ran to the phone to call 911, things really got messed up.

Swan ripped the phone from the wall preventing her from calling and then proceeded to put a hole in the wall by slamming his own head into it. He then threw his mother on the ground and began choking her. At this point, James’ grandfather came out and tried to get him off of his mother, but James continued to choke his mother yelling that he was going to kill her and his grandfather. The grandfather decided that wasn’t going to happen so he retrieved a revolver. James grabbed his grandfather by the arm, causing the firearm to discharge in the holster. The bullet grazed James’ ear and hit the living room window.

Swan was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, but he refused treatment. He was being held without bond on charges of domestic battery by strangulation, child abuse and felony tampering. A 27-year-old WoW player living at home beating up 50-year-old women and grandfathers. Who’d of thunk it?

    I know a 31 year old WoW player who lives in his mother's basement, steals her car (his license was revoked), and relies on her to pay his child support. When I drag his worthless a** into court. His mother also sends his younger sisters into his room to clean it for him. Don't ask me why I married him. It must have been the ignorance of youth.

    At least my ex-roommate who was / is an avid WOW player was never violent. He was just dirty, gross, lazy, never paid rent on time and stole my food.

    Sorry, I have a similar experience with my ex…. Now his new baby momma is taking him to court for child support….It's just a matter of time before he tries to “borrow” money from me to pay it.

    I just broke up with a WOW junkie…I just don't get it. I play games too, but to turn into the kind of person that desires nothing else is beyond me.
    I got really tired of doing everything, and fighting with him to do the basics, like take a fucking shower once in a while…bahh! I'm so glad I did not marry him! Onward!

    Yo, I play WoW, hold down a job, have a wife (who plays as well), support love and raise two beautiful children, AND take showers at least once a day. We are not all that bad. This puke on the other hand needed to handle his nerd rage. He was probably being ganked and camped by someone. What a loser. The funny thing is though… there is NO WOW IN JAIL NEWB! lol
