Man Kills His Brother After Fight Over Who Could Use Bathroom First
January 27, 2010 at 3:12 pm by MorbidAlton, Texas – Zachariah Dee Robinson Hooper, 20, and his brother 22-year-old Jeremiah Hooper had gotten into brawls before, including a knife fight a couple of years ago in which neither men filed charges. But on Tuesday morning the two brothers got into an argument that turned fatal after fighting over who could use the bathroom first. The family intervened and broke the pair up, but shortly after they heard a gunshot. Jeremiah Hooper then ran out of the home holding his neck where Zachariah had shot him with his revolver. Jeremiah was taken to the hospital by his mother and Zachariah, but later died from the wound. “Why it even reached this point…accelerated to the point of pulling out a gun and shooting him, it’s unbelievable,” said Sheriff Treviño. Zachariah Dee Robinson Hooper has been charged with murder.
