Artie Lange’s Suicide Attempt

HOBOKEN, NJ- Actor and comedian Artie Lange, best known for his time on the Howard Stern show, drove a 13 inch kitchen knife into his stomach nine times in a violent and bloody suicide attempt. His mother found him lying on the floor of his house last week, unconscious but still alive. He was taken to Jersey Medical Center where doctors performed surgery on the obviously troubled Lange. Six of the wounds are being called “hesitation wounds”, while the other three went very deep into his body. There has been no statement from Lange, who’s battled with depression and addiction issues in the past. A spokesperson for Lange confirmed that the star has been discharged, but refused to comment on his condition.
