HOUSTON, Texas - Ashley Shamp, 18 arranged for her ex-boyfriend to meet with her mother to discuss killing her father, David Shemp. What neither women knew was that the ex had went to police and when he met with Catherine Shamp, he was wearing a wire. Catherine was recorded offering the man $20,000 to ice David. She and her daughter were both arrested and charged with solicitation of capital murder. Ashley was before a judge on Monday with her father by her side. The judge set her bond at $30,000 which Shamp paid. He believes she was under the influence of her mother and was seen smiling and hugging his daughter as they left the courtroom.
