Drunk Soldier Throws Twin Sisters From Balcony

Moscow – I was gonna post this earlier, but was waiting on more information. Captain-Lieutenant Nikolai Zakharkin, 31, suspected his common-law wife, Irina Lapuzina, 27, was cheating on him when she did not return home one night. So after drinking heavily, he sent her a chilling text message stating, “You can say goodbye” to her 8-year-old twin daughters, Dasha and Katya. He then threw both of them off of their eight-story balcony. Unbelievably, both girls survived because of the trees they fell through and not landing on pavement but as you can imagine, they both got pretty tore up. Katya, who was asleep when she was tossed, suffered a ruptured spleen. Dasha suffered serious concussion, five broken ribs, a ruptured liver and a possible backbone injury. Zakharkin has been arrested and charged with attempted murder. Wishing the girls a quick recovery and wanted to note that I love Russian names. The female names usually sound like sexy spies and the males always sound like videogame villains.

Apparently Mr. Dumbfuck was mad over a microwave oven...

Zakharkin apparently snapped when his girlfriend, Irina, rebuffed his offer to go shopping for a microwave oven with her and then left him on his own with her two daughters. He reportedly worked himself into a rage when his girlfriend did not reply to his phone calls, suspecting her of infidelity.

Neighbours said Nikolay Zakharkin, 30, an army captain, was like a step-father to the girls. Reports said he had been drinking heavily before the incident.

Distraught mother Irina Lapuzina, 27, was last night shuttling between the two hospitals where the girls are being treated to comfort them.

'She is horrified about what her common-law husband has done,' said a neighbour.

'At 1am witnesses reported to the police that a man from the house number five on Sayanskaya Street threw two girls out of the window of the eighth floor, ' said a police source.

Passers-by offered first aid to the girls before ambulances rushed them to hospital.

Irina had recently moved to Moscow with her daughters to be with her new boyfriend following a divorce from her husband, Mikhail.

She had told relatives that her girls 'adored' Zakharkin, saying he did not drink or smoke.

The girls' shocked father said: 'I cannot talk about it now. It's too hard.'

Dasha is on life support breathing machine recovering from the operation on her liver. It is unbearable to think about one of them having to survive without the other. I am so Thankful for that. They all need prayer to get through this.
