Minneapolis – And here I thought I was done for the day. But I couldn’t let this one go. police were called to the apartment of William Hurley apartment on on a child abuse call. When they arrived, they encountered a 10-year-old boy who claimed he had been beaten by his father for being in his mother’s bedroom. The boy hid under a bed, but Hurley threatened to kill him if he didn’t come out. When he did, Hurley burned him on the leg and arm with a hot iron. When the boy ran out of the apartment screaming for help, his mother allegedly pulled him back inside and let Hurley whip him with an extension cord. Out of desperation, the boy hid in the oven, but had to climb out after Hurley turned the oven on. You would think this story couldn’t get any more ridiculous and rage inducing, but it does.

Hurley admitted to the police that he “whooped” the boy and went on to say he wasn’t finished. Hurley then threatened to beat the boy in front of the officers and had to be restrained. The boy was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. Hurley was arrested and charged with malicious punishment of a child. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of one year in prison and a $3,000 fine. Which all seems really, really lenient for what allegedly happened. This kid would have had a better chance at life had his mother given birth to him in a bear cave and left him there.

“Malicious punishment”? Wow. I didn’t realize there was a positive euphamism for “abuse”.

Whatever happened to fatherly love? I mean, Jesus. What fucking animals of parents could do this?

Oh man. If they did not permanently remove the boy (and something tells me they didn’t), he will be murdered before much longer–the joke charges they’re giving this guy are not going to detain him. If he was that violent in the presence of the fucking cops, there is nothing that will stop him from brutalizing this boy to death when he gets home, since his skank bitch mother won’t protect him. :(

So, he basically tries to bake his kid and is facing only (MAYBE) one-year in jail, which he probably won’t see a day of that time. Well, if that isn’t an epic win for him. :( Please tell me the mother is going to face charges, too.

One year? This article ruined my laugh or Jesus and the crack. He burned him with a hot iron and turned on the oven. He was trying to seriously injure this child. It should be a felony and he should be facing years. Mom should be facing charges too

How frightened does a child have to be to jump inside an oven? Of all the hiding places? Well, I guess if no one ever bakes in that household, then I could see it, still I think this poor kid was more scared of the “whoopin” than he was of the oven…..
That’s sick and cruel….Off with William Hurleys head, both of them!

HE WILL NO DOUBT BE MALICIOUSLY PUNISHED FOR THE SCENE HE MADE AS WELL. Parents that turn a blind (or a helping hand) to abuse are often more guily than the abuser.I blame my father because it was his job to protect and my step is a VERY sick woman but this just looks like no one gives a flip about how the child feels or percieves. IF he makes it through he’ll end up either rising WAY above the standards or be a total thug and statitics say the latter odds are better. Yeah GREAT F-ING PARENTS AND PEOPLE IN GENERAL ARE THESE.
