Phillip Lee Rogers Obliged

KISSIMMEE, Florida – September 19th was a long day of drinking and arguing between Phillip Lee Rogers, 63, and his wife Tammy Rogers. At some point, Rogers looked at his wife and asked “Why don’t you just kill yourself?” Tammy then asked for Phillip’s gun. She placed the gun to her head, pulled the trigger but nothing happened. The gun was not loaded. She then told Phillip to put load the gun, which he did by placing one round in the chamber and handing her the gun back. Tammy then placed the gun in her mouth and pulled the trigger. Tammy was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she survived her injuries, although she is now unable to care for herself. Following their investigation, police arrested Phillip on FridayFriday reviewsFriday reviews, charging him with assisting with an attempted suicide.

    I dunno, my thinking is if she was dumb enough to do it, he shouldn’t be to blame. I doubt he believed she’d actually do it for a second.

    She pulled the trigger the first time wen the gun wasn’t loaded…I wouldn’t have doubted her the second time. This is horrible. Some people should leave the liquer alone.

    That’s his side of the story!

    I read it as they got drunk, fought and he saw an opportunity to off his wife.
    He gave her the gun, showed her how to do it and even loaded it for her in her few minutes of self pity and loathing.
    maybe if he had waited 10 minutes she would have had a little clarity.

    I wish I had the power of suggestion so strong that I could make my worthless child abusing ex blow her own brains out. This kind of reminds me of an old X-Files episode, Cerulean Blue or something like that. Good stuff.

    Following their investigation, police arrested Phillip on Friday(), charging him with assisting with an attempted suicide.

    Good, he should be charged. To me this was assisted.

    Backlash why so bitter? There is someone for everyone out there, it might just take a while to find them :)
