Teen Shot On Philadelphia School Bus Headed To Disciplinary School

WEST PHILADELPHIA – Scarce info at this point, but the news is reporting that two teens got into an argument on a school bus that ended when a 15-year-old pulled out a gun and shot at the 17-year-old, grazing his ear. The injuries were not life-threatening, but the victim shit his pants was taken to the hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition. The suspect then shoved the gun in the bus driver’s face before getting off and fleeing the scene. He was arrested a couple blocks away still carrying the .25-caliber handgun. The school bus was on its way to the CEP Miller Disciplinary School, where both the shooter and the victim are students. No word on if the bus had cameras installed. By time police arrived, some of the students had left the bus and walked the rest of the way to school.

These are kids going to a disciplinary school. This isn’t innocent little Tommy and Jane that got detention for passing notes; these are teens in an urban setting that have been disciplined repeatedly, eventually resulting in re-assignment, which is usually a last resort tactic.
My guess? They walked to school because they couldn’t wait to tell their friends about the drama that popped off on the bus.

It really scares me that this is just common place in some places around the country. I mean we are talking about 15, 16, and 17 year olds. What in the fucking hell?
