What an asshole. I hope his girlfriend does the right thing and leaves him. First it's the kitten, then it's the kids. I'm just glad the poor little thing survived. It's going to need a lot of love and patience if it's ever going to be able to trust humans again.

This kinda crap really upsets me. When I was young I was freaked out when I learned my brother locked a stray cat in our garage with his effing pitt bull. You can guess that outcome. A couple of years ago I learned my friend's bro strangled/drowned a neighbor's puppy one day because he wouldn't stay in his own yard. All of a sudden he felt the need to confess and talked about how hard it was to do [strangle the pup while holding his head under water] and how hard and long the poor thing fought for his life. All I want to do it drop kick these bastards so hard their balls go flying out of their mouths!

I would love to hear this asshole's explanation of why he did this. What possesses someone to just pick up a kitten and hang it with a belt? That's why I lean towards the "psycho" theory in cases like this, where it's just a random attack on a helpless animal that serves no purpose at all other than sadism. At the very least, people like this have to have SOME type of personality disorder, even if they aren't sociopaths.

This may come off as one of the most ignorant statements I've made, but honestly, this doesn't surprise me. I did my first 4 years of social work in syracuse. I am from supposedly the city with the highest murder rate in upstate NY, but the murders are mostly gang-related. The people I encountered in Syracuse....well, there must be something in the water. I had a client within the agency I worked for be arrested for being a serial killer of working girls. That dude who kept the sex slaves in his basement lives 2 blocks from my apartment. I jogged by his house everyday. Syracuse is a sinister place. Look at their missing people and their circumstances versus their population. I'm not surprised, but I am sickened. The entire city needs an intervention.
