Brandon Trent Busted For Sodomizing Toddler

Morehead, KY – First we had the baby biter and now we have a baby raper. It’s shaping up to be a completely nauseating day here at the Dreamin’ Demon. Again, not a lot of information on this one, and in this case, I’m thankful. Meet Brandon Trent. The skeevy bastard is accused of sodomizing a 3-year-old child. According to police, Trent’s wife was babysitting for the child and left the kid alone with Trent in a car while she visited her mother at the hospital – a visit that took about 30 minutes. Trent took advantage of that time alone with the kiddo and sodomized her – right there in the parking lot. When the child’s mother picked her up later that day, the child “told her mother troubling statements that bothered her and led her to believe that her daughter had been sexually assaulted.” The child was immediately taken to the hospital for an examination. After detectives spoke with the doctors, the child, the child’s mother, and Trent, there was enough probable cause to make an arrest. Brandon Trent now sits in the Rowan County Detention Center charged with sodomy in the first-degree – a Class-A felony.

    What? So did this happen before or did he suddenly develop his perv ways? I really hope the wife didn’t know, but she is married to him. I think we are missing a lot of pieces to this puzzle. Please update us as more comes in.

    Yeah, good questions Cassie, and I’d also like to know what statements the wife made to the police and whether or not she has contributed to his arrest and will contribute to prosecuting him, or whether she’s one of the foolish ones who is taking up for him.

    TO give her the benefit of the doubt, and assume that he’s never displayed this kind of behavior or hinted at the fact he’s sick and should be locked away or just killed, it would be a terrible realization about your husband, wouldn’t it? I couldn’t imagine the pain and fury that would happen in that situation.

    Sadly, I don’t believe that many people can hide this level of sickness in prolonged intimate relationships like marriage. Afterwards, almost everyone says or COULD say that they had a “feeling” that something was off. Most of the time they actually know that these people at least have this desire and inclination, even if they don’t know if/when they fully act on it.

    Scribble, at some point I would have agreed with you–I am pretty cynical about this sort of thing–but that’s sadly not true. The woman married to Gary Ridgeway, the Green River Killer, was ignorant for the many years she was married. This is a nice, good woman who loved her husband, and he showed her absolutely no sign he was anything but a warm and loving husband. And this is long-term, intensely prolific serial murder. And let’s not forget Dennis Rader’s long suffering wife and family, the BTK killer. The truth is, psychopaths and other allied personality types are horridly adept at fooling those closest to them. I no longer sit in judgement of these people. My heart simply goes out to them. Until there is proof that a spouse knew of vile activity like this and allowed it to go on, my sympathy lies with them.

    so he’s not guilty yet, but if he is i think he shud be tortured. really, i mean imagine this child going on the internet or looking in the newspaper or oneday somehow finding out (or God forbid REMEMBERING!) what has happened. (if innocent, he is not proven guilty yet!) A part of her is taken forever. That part that should not be taken until she is much older and much wiser of the world and has more understanding about things. I hate to hear stories about rape and molestation. I can’t imagine anyone looking into a childs innocent eyes and somehow picturing them as something to “get off” to. IT’S HORRIFIC! Just shows tho what the world has come to.

    Who knows what makes these predadors do what they do. It is obvious that they are freaks of society and need to be dispatched. Unfourtunatly, this poor baby will probably remember this event, seein as how there was the doc visit, police interview, and hopefully a good conversation whith the mother about how this wasn’t your fault etc. She will never see a man through the same eyes again. I’m on the fence about wether the mom knew what was going on. He could have been hiding it from her like a pro, she could have had some idea, or she could have turned a blind eye. I’ll wait for more info before I form an opinion there. I hope at the very least mom kicks the guy to the curb and becomes super vigilant about who she lets near her baby again.
