Christina Mcintyre Wanted One Son Dead, Got The Other To Do It

. Christina Mcintyre was arrested Thursday for the attempted murder of her 11-month-old son. What is heinous about this story is how she went about doing it. On Oct 6th, her 2-year-old son had stacked blankets and a bean bag chair on his little brother and then climbed on top and started jumping up and down. Police are not clear on whether Christina encouraged the older boy to do this, but regardless – she did not stop him. In fact, she waited until the little boy stopped breathing for a full minute before calling 911. She informed them that she would let them decide if the infant lived or died while lying to them about giving the boy CPR. Paramedics eventually arrived and were able to revive the boy. It gets crazier.
Christina told police that her motive behind all of this was the fact that she just cannot care for both boys, and figured if the little one was dead, she could go back to work. “The defendant explained that she wanted to go back to work, but could not afford day care for both kids,” according to the police report. “She stated that if the infant died, she could afford to put the older child in day care so she could work.”
During the 911 call, Christina told them that the boy had apnea, and that was the cause of his breathing problems. In fact, medical records show that the boy had actually been to four separate doctor visits regarding sleep apnea. All of it based on a lie that Christina had manufactured. These visits included numerous invasive tests, which is why prosecutors tacked on aggravated child abuse charges.
Christina Mcintyre was charged with attempted domestic felony murder, aggravated child abuse, child abuse and child neglect causing great bodily harm and was held without bail at the Brevard County Jail. Both boys have been removed from Christina, and placed with DFS. In one of the source links below, there is video of her being led to a police car. A reporter asks her a couple questions, only answering that she loved her boys very much.
Oh yeah, Christina admitted that she took the older sibling to his room and spanked him for smothering his little brother.

Holy shit… those poor babies, don’t EVER give either of them back!! The hell with birth control, have someone (preferable someone who’s been doing a really dirty job all day) reach up in there and yank the ovaries out by force! Then you can pour a mixture of lemon juice and salt in there, I hear that helps the healoing process…

THEN DON’T HAVE FUCKING KIDS YOU AREN’T PREPARED TO TAKE CARE OF!!! did anyone see that flick IDIOCRACY? wasn’t crazy about its execution, but i loved the message. stories like this make me think of the opening sequence of IDIOCRACY where it showed how the population became so stupid. you know, the whole “smart people stopped reproducing while dumb people when baby rampant.”

This is really disgusting. Being a mother myself, I find it so hard to comprehend all these mothers that just disregard their children’s life. I would die for my kids, and I can’t imagine any mother who wouldn’t. Surely, it would have been easier for her to give these children up. There are programs in place to help with childcare and whatnot. Sounds like she would’ve qualified (but it might not have been worth the waste of tax money, as there probably would’ve been a new reason to try to get rid of her kids). She could’ve even gotten FREE birth control on some government sponsored program–Family Planning, I think it’s called. To say that you let one child attempt to kill the other because you couldn’t “afford” it is such a copout answer.

I’ve known people like this. Not who have tried to kill their kids, but people who don’t take responsibility for anything. According to them, nothing is ever their fault. Someone else is always to blame. Can’t hold down a job, blame the economy. Get in trouble at work, blame the boss. Can’t stay in a stable relationship, blame the other person. Can’t afford daycare for two children, try to smother the younger one and then blame the older one while implying that daycare expenses are to blame for the action to begin with.
It’s not about her needing to “thin out her brood” to make ends meet. There are government programs as well as organizations in the private sector (usually found through church groups) that help families in need. They exist so that parents don’t resort to actions such as these. She is either extremely immature or lacks basic problem-solving skills. Or both. I’m glad the paramedics were able to save the baby. And I’m glad that both children are out of her custody. Maybe now they can have a chance for a better life.

I wonder when her husband or ex husband or whatever is going to come get his kids? I also wonder if they are both his kids? Man, what a horrible thing to put on her oldest son. He will grow up hearing how he did this with his mother’s encouragement. That’ll require a fucking lifetime of therapy.
On another note, Christina has a face like a foot.

Thank god they were able to save that poor baby! Can you imagine how the older one is going to feel later in life? I’m sure he’ll find this out. Luckily his sibling is alive and he doesn’t have to deal with that.

I couldn’t agree more! More importantly, this story is so twisted on so many levels. Hope they lock her up and throw away the key! Just because she was not “successful” in having her 2 year old kill her other son, does not mean she should not be put away for life. She had other options, but to use her 2 year old to do something like this is incomprehensible. You can’t fix a sociopath.
