KANSAS CITY, Mo - James Phillip “Phil” Edwards, 60, is one happy looking sumbitch, huh? Surprising since a grand jury just indicted him on child pornography charges. This is one sick fuck, people. Not just because he was distributing child porn, but because of how he was making it. He would lace drinks and ice cream with Ambien, and give them to girls between the ages 0f 6 and 11. While unconscious, he would strip them and take photos and videos of them. Police seized his computer after they allege he advertised child porn on the Internet. They found images and video of the unconcious girls in folders titled Consuming the date rape drug and  Phil’s kindergarten class ages 4-7. Even worse is the fact that he does not feel he has done anything wrong. “His view is that society places arbitrary lines (as in age restrictions) around sexual conduct, with which he doesn’t agree,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Katharine Fincham wrote in the motion.

His wife told reporters that her husband could have only done this within a short amount of time 3 to 4 years ago. She would not reveal how he knew the girls in order to protect their identity. She also stated that she was not aware of what her husband was up to.

    Now……WTF? What did he do for a living that would allow him to be so close to sooo many little one’s? Was he “santa”? A teacher/ What?     It’s true, there are some people who are mature enough, mentally and emotionally, to consent to sex before the age of 18. (And there are others who are not mature enough to consent to sex even after the age of 18.) But no matter how you spin it, this was not a case of a man doing sexual things with an emotionally mature, well-developed teen who came off as 21 year old. These were obviously children, who probably trusted him. And they were drugged. Forget about consent on a legal level for a moment, they weren’t even able to consent on a personal level! Even if they were adults, what he did would still be illegal. It’s worse, though, that they were children–who gets sexually attracted to little children? It’s sick.

    I’d love to go and smack that stupid grin off his ugly face. Bastards like these make me want to lock up my son and my niece so that no one can ever hurt them! Not realistic and quite detrimental for the children, I know…Grrr! He makes me mad–grinning there like some political prisoner arrested for a just cause. The Robin Hood of kiddie porn.

    Even if every one of his victims was 18+, this would STILL be illegal! You can’t drug someone, take naked pictures of them, then sell them on the internet! It’s wrong not matter what…the fact that they were children just makes it worse! Sick Santa-looking bastard!
