she noticed a gap between the ceiling and the shower vent. And, in that gap, she discovered a couple of beady eyes looking back at her.

Chilling, I'm glad it wasn't grandma - she could have had a stroke -

So, me and mine rent a quaint little house on a private lake. The landlord is the biggest land owner on the lake, with 6 homes including her own on the books of her estate. These homes were a relatively recent purchase, however. An strange old man owned them before her.

The construction of my home is pretty bizarre. There are random panels in the drywall that have been sealed using molding in a few rooms, for example. But the most interesting element of construction has to do with our spare bedroom which is currently occupied by my roommate, Robyn. One entire wall consists of built-in drawers and closet space and, in the center is a large mirror, probably 4'x4'. On the other side of this wall is the livingroom. We noticed a couple of months ago that, between the mirror and the wall, there is just shy of a foot of space.

Mike and I have joked about that space, saying it probably housed a camera for spying. But now that Robyn's in there, I'm kinda tempted to put a camera back there - a non-functional one, of course - just to freak her out. Maybe I could rig one so that the record light will activate via remote signal, so that I can turn it on when I know she's going in to get dressed or has just come out of the shower.

Anyone that has electonics skills like that, holla. :P
