Hmmm, If he got caught once in February and twice in June was this a 4th time and the schools didn’t worry too much since it was only three times, or, are the charges just being brought up for the previous three?

Speaking of Wal-Mart and electronics departments… I find it interesting that obscene LIVE conduct is a mere misdemeanor charge warranting a max of 6 months and $1000 fine while down there in – where was it, Georgia? – those boys who threw on porn as a prank are facing a felony charge that carries a 5 year max and god knows how much in fines.
It amazes me, the extent to which culture can shift between states within the same country.

Obscene Live Conduct can describe someone simulation masturbation, or doing that blowjob pantomime where you move your fist back and forth in front of your mouth while using your tongue to push out the side of your cheek. He didn’t really do anything else. He didn’t touch anyone or anything
That is very different than playing a pornographic movie on an unsuspecting public.And that is why there were different charges. His possible punishment being lighter than the Wal-mart porn kids has nothing to do with different cultures between states, but rather different laws being broken.

And to further clarify, if this guy is convicted of this same offense within a two year period, the state of Idaho will then charge him with a felony.

Weak. I had multiple paragraphs typed out, then accidently clicked the window away. I hate that. So, to paraphrase –
If Georgia or Alabama or whatever state that was assigns a felony charge with a max sentence of 5 years to the act of exposing an unwilling populace to porn on a TV, I can only imagine what they’d do with a man who was “manipulating his penis with his hands” (reads: “fondling himself while erect”) in front of a similarly unwilling populace not once, not twice, but three times. Unless you know something that I don’t, I’m not sure how you can compare touching an erect penis in public with mimicking head. Speaking of mimmicking head – where was it those movie-making kids were busted? Myrtle Beach?
You know what I’m getting at. It’s no secret that, while most states have obscenity laws, states in the south and mid-west are far more likely to exercise them than the other states, and sentencing is going to be more severe. These are verifiable facts. Now, is this particular case proof of that? No, I suppose it could just be coincidence.

As for the Myrtle Beach story, Myrtle Beach is a family tourist spot. Try filming a simulated sex act in or around Disney World.

I’d let it out and have dressed up with a hat on it complete with those little, plastic googly eyes. Maybe improvise a ventriloquist show in Wal-mart’s electronics section.

I had him as a teacher and he was a fantastic teacher! I’m and fed up with the way every one is treating this he is not a child molester he is an amazing person that made several stupid mistakes I hope he is not charged so we can have him back! Now back off you don’t know him so don’t judge him. He has kids this will ruin their lives if everyone makes this an even bigger deal then it really is

he never acted like this with us. It came as a complete shock that he would even think to do this and yes it was a mistake he is only human. I think he should have some therapy but not prison or getting fired. You would be the type of person that would call an 18 year old having sex with a 17 year old rape. I don’t believe that he really showed anyone anything, yeah maybe he had a hard on and someone over reacted but he would never just whip it out and have ppl watch him. Then don’t have your kid come to capital, we don’t need your bloody spawn here anyway. We need to be understanding of him and know that he would never do this to his students. When a teacher has sex with their students it is way worse but never gets this much publicity. Again don’t go judging people you do not know he would not to this at school or hurt any of us he only pushed us to work harder he stopped countless amounts of kids from dropping out.
