GREENWICH, Conn - The “foremost psychic in New England,” Janet Lee, 35, called police on July 11 to report a man had beat her ass outside her Greenwich office. She believed that the rival psychics in town, the ones who have been leaving threatening messages on her answering machine, were the ones responsible. Greenwich police said there were inconsistencies in Lee’s story, and they believe she may have been assaulted in Norwalk by someone she knew. She was charged with falsely reporting an incident, interfering with an officer and providing a false statement. But Lee is sticking to her story. “Janet is a highly regarded psychic who specializes in predicting the future, not fabricating the past,” her lawyer said. It is a well-known fact that I hate “professional” psychics. I think they take money from the ignorant (which I don’t really care about) and the desperate (which I do). In regards to missing person cases they provide false hope and needless devastation. For unsolved murders they force investigators to waste time and energy on false leads – sometimes on the behalf of the friends and family who hired them. They are leeches.

Speaking of these motherfuckers, the James Randi Educational Foundation still has their 1 million dollars sitting in Sachs unclaimed. If you are not aware, Randi has offered this money to anyone who can prove that they truly posses psychic ability. No self-proclaimed psychic has ever taken the test. So Randi went on the offensive and started going after prominent psychics and asking them to take the test. They all refuse. In particular, Sylvia Browne, the famous psychic who told Shawn Hornbeck’s parents he was dead.

On Larry King she agreed to take Randi’s test, but now she refuses to listing various bullshit reasons why she won’t. These reasons are the same excuses that all of the prominent psychics use. There is even an online petition out there asking her to take the test, but she still refuses and I am guessing that will never change because, well, she posses no psychic ability. She is no different than anyone one of you out there who claim to see the future, or possess some supernatural ability to “see” past events you were no part of. You are a fucking liar and you fucking know it.
