Desperation I guess can make people do some horrible things. I myself will never understand it, there is always another way…..always. What’s the saying…However good or bad the situation, it will change.

Wow, I’ll never understand this shit. What is in the water that is making this so common all of a sudden? Being financially screwed is one thing, but offing the whole family because you can’t pay the mortgage on a house? WTF? Any one out there have some thoughts on why this is happening more frequently?

Suicides and instances like this increase when we have problems with the economy. That’s why when shit like what’s been going on lately starts happening I’m glad I was raised dirt poor. The idea of NOT having enough money to survive day to day is no shock to me. the ultra suburban middle class…the ones who already live beyond their means…go nuts when there are problems with the economy.

My husband and I are perfect examples of that contrast. I was raised poor, while he was raised on a higher economic level. A while back I checked our bank account and saw $50 in it on a Wednesday. I was jumping for joy. He, however, was near panic that we had so little money.

Sounds like the guy had some very distorted thinking going on. I’ve been rich and poor, and have learned that nothing lasts forever. There’s usually a way to change ones situation, and it all begins with ones thinking. Living with uncertainty, fear, and difficulty does not mean all is lost, or that things will never change. If he annihilated his entire family because of financial distress, well, to me, thats the epitome of self absorption.

Most selfish is right!! Dalton not being able to see past the now economy or have the skills to reason that, it will get better, with time. And obviously did NOT want his wife and children to succeed him, all he accomplished was sending himself straight to hell. Greed and Egotism are traits that go hand in hand, never ending happily!

Rest in Peace Jennifer, Charlie and Emmaline!
