Amer Ejak And Christopher Cox Are Show-Offs

TAMPA, FL -  Got a couple of geniuses for you in a story from out of Florida. Amer Ejak, 16, and Christopher Cox, 22, were inside the apartment of 34-year-old Thomas Johannesen’s apartment on Thursday or Friday. Cox instructed Ejak to hit Johannesen over the head with a whiskey bottle, which he did. Johannesen fell to the floor and then moved to the couch by the two men. Ejak then put a plastic bag over Johannesen’s head and tied a belt around his neck. After murdering Johannesen, they moved his body into a closet. When they left, they took Johannesen’s cell phone, sneakers, and house keys. These two idiots couldn’t contain themselves and a short time later started asking people if they had ever seen a dead body before. They brought two people to the apartment and showed them Johannesen’s corpse.  One of those people told a third person, who then called the cops.

Johannesen’s parents traveled from New York after they couldn’t contact their son for several days. They called authorities Saturday night to gain entry to his apartment, when they found his body. Ejak and Cox were arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree murder. Cox has a lengthy criminal record with more than 15 arrests since 1998, including arrests in April and in July on drug possession charges. One of Johannesen’s neighbors, Scott Cummings, said he knew Johannesen for about two years. He said the man was mild mannered, friendly and frail.

    I am confused about one thing…this article said the morons took 2 people to see the body and one person called a third person, who called the cops. At the end of the article, it says Johannesen’s parents traveled to Tampa, FL after they couldn’t contact their son, had authorities open the door for them and found their son’s body. Why was the body still in the apartment several days later when it was reported to the cops the day of the murder? Didn’t the cops investigate the first call???

    So, tpagirl78, please enlighten us. Which part of the story is not factual? Because in order to be “making stupid shit up”, we’d have to be lying about the known facts of the case, right? Clearly the facts are as follows:

    Thomas Johannesen is dead.
    His death was caused either in full or in part by Amer Ejak, who you say you know.
    Ejak was in the home with Cox, who is a career criminal and drug user.
    You say Ejak was “plowed” (I think you meant “plied”) with drugs and alcohol.

    So if all those facts are true, then your buddy is in fact a drug-using murderer who hangs out with felons. Gosh, I hope you’re not his mother.

    Thomas and Anne met on Sept. 11, 2001, at the University of South Florida Sun Dome. He was working as a mechanical technician at the arena. She was a theater student. They watched the news together that day as Johannesen learned that his cousin, Sean, who worked in the World Trade Center, died when a plane struck the first tower.

    They began dating shortly after and had a son in 2003. They named him Sean.
    The two got married on Sept. 11, 2004, but recently separated.
    “That doesn’t make it any easier,” said Anne, who now lives in Davenport. “I love him.”
    He may have died on their anniversary.

    “He was a very sweet man,” she said, “a very kind soul.”

    *sigh* Rest in Peace, Thomas Johannesen….

    I’m glad to hear you’re still in school. But interior design is kinda like sports or music – there’s not much money in it unless you’re really, really, really good at it.

    You want to brush up on those English skills so that you’ve always got an office job to fall back on should interior design not work out for you. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

    Cris – A number of states have these kind of flexible age of consent laws. Like in Washington St., the age of consent is 16 so long as the person sleeping with them is within 4 years of their age. If FL has a similar law, Krystal would not be charged. Nor should she, in my opinion. She may very well be Amar’s mental inferior.

    My boyfriend types a lot worst than Krystal and I am very very proud of him when he does type. Why am I proud of him you ask? Because he is severly dyslexic. Dyslexia has absolutely nothing do with intelligence, it is how his eyes see letters in print. His eyes don’t pick up spaces between letters or sentences. Other than that, he has a very high IQ and speaks proper grammar and uses big words in their proper context. he just can’t spell them, read them, or write them. When he writes or types, it looks like a three year old did it. It really pisses me off when people treat him like he is no more intelligent than an ape because he is physically unable to read.

    For all we know, Krystal could have a high IQ and is merely dyslexic. The choices she makes in life, such as having a baby before she has gotten a chance to enjoy being an adult, is not a testiment of her level of intelligence either…she is just a kid without much experience. All of us did very stupid things when out on our own the first time. Hell, I traded my only wheels for a .22 marlin and didn’t even think about how I was going to get to work the next day until the day came.

    I have had a lot of practice reading text from horrible typers so it doesn’t bother me that much…in fact it is almost fun like trying to decypher a secret coded message. you should see the typing from my friend at multiply…he has epilepsy. I do not know how that plays into his typing skills but that is what he says whenever he feels like he has to apologize for it. You’d swear one of those drinking birds was on the keyboard.

    I cannot imagine what it must be like to find out the father of your baby played some kind of role in the murder of someone else, whether they participated or just stood there and let it happen. If it were my fiance instead of Amer who was involved, I would have a hard time accepting the fact that he was a participant in a murder because I know him intimately (I don’t mean sexually either). The committee inside my head would convince me Terry couldn’t have done it because he will stop in the middle of the road for a turtle crossing the road. I’ve seen his big calloused hands hold an eyedropper to feed newborn kittens that someone stuffed in a bag and left them to die in a garbage bin in the park and held him while he cried when two of them died. I’m sure Krystal saw things like that makes it hard for her to grasp what happened…that doesn’t make someone stupid.

    No way that Ejak, Cox and Mr. Johannesen went to school or college together, for one thing, unless Ejak is an idiot savant or genius (obviously not) he isn’t of age, and second, Cox is 22, I don’t believe he finished fifth grade and Mr. Johannesen is 34.
    If Cox and Mr. Johannesen lived in the same apartment complex, how is it, that none of the neighbors knew Cox? Some did say that they had witnessed Cox come around and hang at the pool. It really doesn’t matter, whether Ejak and Cox knew him well or not, they killed him and then exploited his body!

    OK, I know no one is following this anymore but I just HAVE to post…

    1) TJ wasn't frail.. He didn't attend USF, he worked there as a stagehand. My husband rented a room from him and his wife before we married, as well as worked with them. TJ was an idiot, but a pretty good guy. He loved his son VERY much. He drank and had questionable friends, but didn't deserve to die…

    2) Chickie-poo who claims to be preggers with Amer's baby.. She “graduated” top of her class from an “alternative education school” – according to her MySpace. She was at a local high school, but shows she finished at this place. These schools are where kids who are explelled due to criminal reasons or who are no longer able to be processed thru the (already poor) local school system are sent. The high school she claims to have gone to is in the center of some of the richest neighborhoods in Tampa. The “alternative education center”? It's downtown cracktown… Reading her MySpace page makes me think of a wanna-be gangbanger who is never going to rise from the welfare rolls and be proud of that fact. I feel sorry for her and, conversely, glad that I got my daughter the hell out of that school system!

    Hopefully, both those guys spend a LONG time in the wonderful Florida prison system. And, hopefully, the local DA finds a way to charge the two people who viewed the body but didn't report it. If it was this gal – maybe HRS will give her child a chance to grow up in the foster system – which will be better!
