Michael O’Riley’s Sex Slave Wife

Lodi, California Whether they come to the United States to flee poverty, terrorism, or in search of the American dream, I’m sure being an immigrant woman comes with a great deal of challenges. With a steep learning curve, having to juggle learning English with finding a job, a secure residence, and a social life can be overwhelming. And all too often it happens. Once married, it makes life so much easier – no fear of having to leave the country, stability, and an All American style hubby. Especially if you’re to meet someone like Michael O’Riley, who allegedly enjoyed holding his wife’s status over her head to get his own little sex slave prisoner.

I guess this marriage started alright. I mean, this couple had been married for 4 years and it wasn’t until the last 22  months of the marriage that 60 year-old Michael O’Riley started becoming a bit obsessed with his wife. Perhaps it was due to the pressure of his job. I can’t imagine being a social worker for a prison is exactly a cake walk. I imagine that job comes with a little bit of stress since really, prison workers are frowned upon if they want to torture their clients. And what’s a grown married man suppose to do to relieve that stress? Of course. Take it out on the wife.

Police had been called a couple of times by the immigrant wife of Michael’s, stating she was being abused but they could find no evidence substantiating this claim and the woman stated she was fine. But when they responded to the last call and this woman bolted out of the house and jumped into their squad car through an opened window, I guess they figured that wasn’t the act of a rational and calm individual. That, and they saw Michael loading a shit load of firearms into his vehicle.

The woman claims her husband had been holding her captive for the past 22 months, forcing her to perform sex acts, depriving her of food and taking her places against her will. (I wonder where?) Although prosecutors felt as though they couldn’t substantiate her claim of being held captive, Michael O’Riley has been charged with one count of making criminal threats, two counts of forced oral copulation, and two counts of sexual penetration with a foreign or unknown object. Okay, a couple WTF’s? What kind of foreign or unknown objects? They can prove she was forced to give him blow jobs and she was fucked by something other than him but they can’t prove she was being held against her will? Alrighty then.
