« « Review: The Case Of The Bloody Iris | Firefighter Mike Hicks Dumps His Wife In The Woods » »

Annville, PA – The couple had been out all day shopping at the local big box retailer and were eager to get back to the trailer. They had just picked up a box of fried chicken and Larry Coletti, 51, was hungry. But tragically so was FidoFido reviewsFido reviews, which set off a grisly chain of events leading to Larry’s death. Apparently Pamela Poorman, 55, was going to feed poochy before feeding the man of the house and that pissed Larry off. Pamela later confided in police that she had been being abused for some time, so it’s not a leap here to imagine that maybe Larry had his panties a little bit in a wad about the pecking order thing. He was probably all up in her face  yelling and maybe acting like he wanted to serve her an open faced knuckle sammich instead of chicken. They began to fight. Pamela thought of a good way to end it: she picks up a big RamboRambo IV reviewsRambo IV reviews style survival knife and threatens him with it. Apparently that didn’t work so she stabbed him in the ass a couple times. He died later that night due to complications from blood loss. Pamela called the cops on herself and was whisked off to jail, no bond. I wonder if she finally fed the dog before the police arrived?

That makes me sad, why do people let it get to that point? I guess you feel trapped, like you can’t do anything else or go somewhere else.

Been there, done that, stayed just long enough to realize NO ONE was going to help me, (1985, no laws yet to protect domestic abuse victims like now), stayed at first because “it was better to know where the devil was tahn to wait for him to show up on your doorstep”. Then he tried to kill me and I decided I wasn’t going to die wearing his last name. It still took a LONG time to get away, he showed up unexpectedly, broke in at night, destroyed personal property and the Law Enforcement ignored it all.

The laws are better now, but many women get to feeling like they somehow deserved it, should stay because of vows, kids, etc. It’s hard to think straight when your being beaten and abused. Which is probably which she stabbed him in the ass instead of running. The difference between her and him, she’s accepting resposibility,(I pray the system treats her gently), most abusers say “What?! Me?! oh no, not me!”
I never judge anymore, just offer to help, (or insist if the case warrants it)….if and when they are ready, and hopefully they’re listening when I tell them, that “No, you didn’t deserve it!!”
Anyway, that’s been my experience…and I wish it wouldn’t on anyone else – EVER!!

Probably why Larry died of complications from blood loss… “Now BITCH your ass is gonna wait there bleeding while I feed my dog!” ;)

Its sad but after doing some research (5 min on google) I found that Poorman had been granted a protective order against Mr.Coletti a year ago, and let him move back into her trailer (which she was the sole owner of). She got away, or better got rid of him, then let him come back. I doubt the system will show her much sympathy because in their eyes she willfully put herself into a dangerous situation which the system had already provided a remedy for. The courts see victims of domestic abuse pretty frequently, and unfortunately frequency leads to apathy. Domestic violence is such a foreign concept to me, I could never see hitting some one as a better solution than just moving on, nor could I ever see being hit as a better solution than leaving.
