Rodolfo Claudio-Marquez Is No Romeo

Portland, OR- I don’t know who it was that lied to 23-year old Rodolfo Claudio-Marquez and told him he is the shit when it comes to romancing the ladies, but whoever it was needs a good kick in the nads. Around 7 p.m. on Monday, a 17-year old girl was riding a Trimet bus toward home when Claudio-Marquez began flirting with her. The girl ignored Claudio-Marquez’s advances and when she got off at her stop, the persistent Romeo followed her. The girl told Claudio-Marquez several times to leave her alone as she walked toward her house, but he refused and even offered to buy the girl alcohol.

When the girl reached her house, Claudio-Marquez grabbed her around the waist, pulled her toward him, and tried to kiss her. Instead of swooning over this Don Juan wannabe’s forceful attempt, the girl pushed him away from her. That was when Claudio-Marquez proved he really is an asshole because he punched the girl in the face. The girl ran into her home and said she was calling police which finally convinced Claudio-Marquez to get lost.
The girl called her father, who then notified police, and they gave a description of Claudio-Marquez. The girl’s father later spotted Claudio-Marquez back at the same bus stop and contacted the police. Claudio-Marquez was arrested and the girl confirmed he was the same man who had assaulted her. Claudio-Marquez was charged with assault, harassment and sex abuse. Police said Claudio-Marquez also violated probation for an earlier meth charge.

Good job for the girl! Who knows what might have happened if she accepted the offer of alcohol. And I love you dad! It must have taken a major amount of restraint to not beat the creepy little fucker to a pulp. Maybe the guy got caught before he had done worse damage. I hope this constitutes a good amount of jail time and the requirement of sex offender registry, seein’ as how he was on probation. Getting’ all punchy after she broke away from just proves that he is probably one of those guys that will continue and get worse.

The DA has decided to upgrade the charges he was arrested on and will bring the case before a grand jury. ICE also has a hold on him so if somehow manages to make bail or get off, he won’t be able to walk free.
