John Strutz Arrested For Hiding Dismembered Body In Home

DEHLI TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Interesting one out of Ohio with few details. On Saturday John Strutz, 30, reported his wife, Kristan Strutz, 28, missing after he was unable to locate her. He allowed police to search the home where the only things seized were some bottles of bleach. But on SundaySunday reviews
evening he was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and obstructing official business after police found human remains in or around the home. Police have not released any information about the body but WCPO is reporting that it was of an adult and was significantly dismembered.
Today Strutz appeared in court and received a $1 million bond for the tampering with evidence charge and an additional $10,000 bond for the charge of obstructing official business. Murder charges are also expected. It is also being reported that Strutz is a welder who was laid off in May and that Kristan worked at a nearby nursing home who was due back to work in NovemberNovember reviews after suffering an ankle or knee injury. They are the parents of three young girls ages 6, 5 and 3 who are currently being cared for by relatives.
Crime scene technicians have been concentrating their search efforts in a part of the yard to one side of the house, but if you read some of the comments and other news reports, it seems as if the remains were found in the home – possibly in a freezer. Other rumors being that an attendee at a party being held at the Strutz house found the remains in the freezer. There is a bit of fact to that rumor if you go by the video report by WLWT. At the end, they mention the party and that it is also part of the investigation.

It is one thing to kill – but I can never get my head around how someone can dismember another human being – especially one they at one time professed to love. This was the mother of his children for cripes sakes!! A woman he slept with, ate with, laughed with, cried with – and he systematically cut her body into little fricken pieces and then scattered it around??
Just please tell me those children were NEVER in that home after he did his dastardly deed?! Also, the party goers – I can’t tell you how creeped out I’d be, knowing I went to a party where that person’s spouse was “chillin’” in the freezer and the yard!
What a sick, sick fuck. SICK – not – CRAZY! Crazy would be if he maybe mounted her head on the wall and made a purse out of her skin or some shit like that. Dismemberment and hiding body parts is not the work of a nut – it’s the work of a calculating, cold-hearted son of a bitch!

What?! Stutz throw a party because the wife was missing?
Zibarro, I’m with you (and most everybody else, I’m sure) dismembering someone is cold but not crazy, evil and cruel is what I’m thinking! The fact that Stutz hid body parts in the freezer, then reported her missing, says he knew he needed to hide her, therefore knowing it was wrong, so no insanity here, just plain evil and controlling!

I never understood killing our spouse or loved ones. Divorce is there for a reason…. use it. I understand getting to that point to want to but actually doing it is something else.

I’m gonna try this one more time with no link! You can go to news.cincinnati dot com and read one of the reports of the Investigators spending Monday through this morning searching the landfill.
Put parts in the dumpster?? Who knows….
Also, the browser heading says Stutz instead of Strutz, no biggie, but when you google Stutz, an article comes up about a Jack Stutz that murdered his wife Judith, then himself,found in the backyard,too! (In 2002)
Wonder if John added the “r” after that or if it’s just an odd coincidence??

“It’s been a very difficult two weeks,” said Larry Emley a family spokesperson and one of Kristan’s cousins. “At least now we have some closure to it.”
Emley, is this a typo ? 4 kids ? how do you predict the kids will be alright …
Emley said the family is numb right now and is focusing its energies on Kristan’s children — three girls and a boys — who are in the care of relatives.
“The kids will be all right,” Emley added.
—————- maybe I am just tired why is there a photographer on that site taken credit for a photo they did not take obviously that was taken at the zoo before Kristan went missing and was murdered.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters says 30-year-old John Strutz also has been charged by a grand jury with gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
Strutz reported 28-year-old Kristan Strutz missing from their suburban Cincinnati home on Aug. 15, and was later arrested and held on an evidence-tampering charge.
Authorities recovered some human remains the coroner has confirmed are the woman’s. Deters says Strutz dismembered her body and tried to hide the remains.
Strutz is being held on $1 million bond. His attorney says he denies the allegations.
The couple’s three young children are being cared for by relatives.
