Laura Adams Gave Her Man 20 Whacks

Savannah, Georgia For the second day in a row the story that gained my attention involves a domestic abuse situation. And for the second day in a row, the implements of destruction are an axe, a shovel, and a 2×4. Exactly where is the breaking point between being absolutely pissed off as a hornet and wanting to beat the shit out of someone and actually doing it? I know you can kill someone with a 2×4. I mean, the first hit better be good enough to stun them, and the continued beating should be enough to X their eyes. Shovels can do a lot of damage too. Hell, I got to see first hand at a poker run many years ago. An axe? Yep, one well placed swing should do the trick. Laura Jean Adams must have thought her estranged boyfriend might keep coming back to life, like in really bad horror flicks. She managed to use all three weapons to the point that Ted Bala never left his bed.

Sounds as though Ted Bala (63) and Laura Adams (61) had a mutual relationship. They shared their alcohol, they shared their passion, and they shared their tempers. They’d get drunk and she would hit him – he’d hit her. They must have had something nice though. Even though they were estranged, she was found in a blood soaked nightgown which pretty much means either she was sleep walking or had intended on a sleep over. Only she didn’t sleep.
Ted was found at the foot of his bed and beat from head to ankle. About 20 whacks. And since Laura Jean was there, covered in blood, and admitted what she used, they pretty much concluded their murder mystery was solved. But prosecution won’t be so easy. Laura Jean has a history of documented mental illness and they claim she has hallmark signs of a battered woman. Um, I think Ted has classic or “hallmark signs” of a battered man – and since he’s dead – in my opinion, he wins that one hands down.
Laura Jean Adams has been charged with murder and her case is expected to go in front of a grand jury. Expect a huge testimony from her psychiatrist, whom she’d been seeing for a while. Not only that, she called him that fateful night saying that she’d chopped Ted up with an axe. And it was the doctor that called 911.

I was a friend of Ted’s. You have NO idea the severity of what really happened… the things in the news dont even begin to cover it. Thou i dont agree with any man hitting a woman, i dont believe a man should take the abuse from one either. His kindness and unnecessary feelings of responsibility for a deranged person is the reason he’s in over 68 pieces and even more horribly treated then i will share. The woman was a stalker and he tried many times over the years to break away, only to allow her back as she relentlessly forced herself into his life. Gruesome doesn’t even begin to cover it… YOU try cleaning up after something like that. The horror for his friends and family, neighbors and associates will never truly fade. I’ve met the psychopath also.. CREEPY. Nothing but seething lunacy and bad energy to be found in her at all. The ONLY comfort anyone that cared for Ted has now is knowing that JUSTICE must be served… and she has time in her own hell coming for retribution. And before you ppl post on things like this.. why not remember that it could be YOUR friend on these pages as you search for information on this “information-super-highway”. Next time.. it just might be your own family..There’s no shortage of psychos or evil in this world…
