I understand what your saying and this situation could be something like yours, I was just speculating a little myself. I think I was more concerned that right after this happened he talked to the media about a boy he really didn’t even know…..(either by choice or not) and that just seems weird to me. I guess that’s why I assumed what I did. Who knows. Thanks for posting though, you should come out more often!

With all due respect CassieMomma, and I sincerely mean that, just because the father wasn’t in his life doesn’t mean it was by the fathers choice. It simply stated that they had recently been reunited. I just had to say something because it hit close to home. Just recently my husband was reuntied with a son that was taken from him years ago. This is not my story so I won’t go into it, but I will say that I feel for all of the family involved. I don’t know that this father and my husband were in the same situation, but if so, please do not judge him too harshly. For all intents and purposes he may have just lost his child all over again.

So the kid is 14 and his real dad is saying they just got reunited after 13 years! Why are you even commenting? You didn’t even know him, you left when he was very very young and just came back……hmmmm maybe that might have something to do with his “problems”. Jackass! Damn fucked up!

What we do know is that Eric’s stepsister, a woman he considered his best friend, is dead. Really dead.

Tragic so very sad and worries me to tears if that marriage wasn’t shakey before it will be extremely troublesome for those parents Omg…. how horrible. R I P Patricia and God Bless all the family and friends.

I remember my son making a statement that his sister was his favorite person in the universe … so adorable.

I know the feeling – about taking away the electronics Oh please it is really not that serious.

My son (19) had my daughter (25) on the floor the other night when she tried to use her own computer to send a thank you note after a job interview. He claimed she got up so he started a game and refused to move. Both her and I tried to reason with him. She goes to work early in the AM, she wouldn’t be long. After she sends her email she will be going to bed therefore he could have the pc. He wasn’t having none of it. I demanded he go to his room – that didnt go over very well I ended up going to my room and letting her have my computer. Next day he asked for my credit card to renew his game membership and I said no way and he knew why, very different disposition, no argurment about it.

I am very grateful that neither of my kids use drugs or alcohol (and no I am not naive) Words and tone of voice sometimes are so shocking we should sleep with one eye open, but it is reasonable to think it can’t and won’t happen to Us. What a scary thought, Yes it can these are real people too.

You can not make these children get in the car and go to counseling, you can’t make them go to their rooms, I tried to turn off their computer and what do they do …. they think they have a right to disconnect mine. Sometimes I want to run-a-way crawl in a hole, go down to eviction court and evict my own children – how sad to feel that way. And yes you never know when things explode it comes and goes.

Sorry bout the rant. Just pisses me off. What a waste of 2 lives.
