Elizabethton, TN – Megan Cullop was planning on doing some redecorating – so, on Monday afternoon, she loaded up her kid and headed for the nearest WalMart. After filling her shopping cart with the must-haves, she made a beeline for the door – completely bypassing the cash registers. Alert security personnel caught up with Megan at the door, took away her shopping cart, more than likely lectured her on the evils of shoplifting, and let her go. Now, if Megan had even half a brain cell bumping around in her vacant little noggin, she would have realized how lucky she was that the cops weren’t called in and chalked it up as a lesson learned. But, seeing as how she is gracing the pages of the Dreamin’ Demon, you know that wasn’t the case.

Megan is a moron. She returned to that very same WalMart the very next day, again with her 12-year-old son in tow, and proceeded to fill up another cart. Her shopping list consisted of bath towels and hand towels, several shower curtains, bath mats and rugs, candles, posters and poster frames, pillows, and a bottle of Kaopectate. She tried a different approach when she exited the store this time – she handed control of the shopping cart to her son, told him to meet her at the car, and she left the store. Brilliant plan, Megan! I am in awe of your diabolical planning skills. What could possibly go wrong? Well, her kid got busted as soon as he walked out of the store. And what did mom of the year do? She drove off – leaving behind her Kaopectate and her offspring. Nice. She didn’t get too far – she was pulled over about 5 minutes later. After that, a shoplifting charge was the least of her problems.

Her license came back as revoked because of a DUI in 2006, so she was placed under arrest and charged with driving on a revoked license. During an inventory of the vehicle before it was towed to the impound lot, officers discovered a couple of pill bottles in Megan’s purse – she had some Alprazolam, which were prescribed to her, 15 Xanax and 9 Lortab pills, for which there was no prescription. So, toss on a charge of simple possession, too! She’sShe reviewsShe reviews also looking at charges of theft of merchandise over $500, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and child neglect.

Mom of the year! She should be proud. Dumber and dumber is right. Thinking or a word worse than dumber … I got nothing it’s too early. ;)

Poor kid. This story is just as sad as any other on here. What kind of life does he have if his mother is that evil and cruel?

Note to self – read carefully. If something doesn’t ‘fit’ go back and read again. Why? Because I was just about to ask how this stupid bitch being a “Mormon” had to do with anything! LOL. I went back to see if I could find the connection – and realized it said “moron”… and then I felt like one!

On to the story — brain dead bitch. I have never known anyone that stupid. If they were gonna try to shoplift again (especially the very next day!) usually the perps pick a different store! She was BEGGIN’ for this!

The drugs? Here in Indiana, it’s a Class D felony for EACH pill she gets caught with. I hope it’s the same (if not worse) where she is! I don’t know how “simple possession” is classifed tho… would love to learn :-)

OK… I must need a nap. Rarely do I misread shit that bad! lol

Did anyone else notice that the Johnson City Press (source) incorrectly said that she has a prescription for alprazolam, but had xanax with no prescription? Um….Xanax IS Alprazolam. Alprazolam is the generic name for the exact same drug. If she has a prescription for Alprazolam she has one for Xanax. It’s like saying you had a prescription for Hydrocodone, and not having one for Vicodin. They are the same thing. It is prescribed for anxiety, so we already know she has some issues. But why leave your kid, when they will trace your kid back to you? Maybe her legal defense will be that she was having an anxiety attack and needed to go home right away…. Wouldn’t be surprised!

Actually it is possible to have both Xanax and Alprazolam. Just because they are the same, one being generic, does not mean she didn’t have a bottle of alprazolam with her name on it and another bottle of brand name Xanax in an unlabeled vial. This seems to be the case here. She is probably either addicted to sells them but judging from the story I’d say addict fits better. Obviously this woman is a sorry excuse for a mother and I’m glad she’s in jail now for being as stupid as she looks.

Prescription or not, it is hard to believe that she drove off and left her kid there. What could she be thinking? DER, the kid will skate and just come back home?
