Christopher Dean Bobs His Baby In The Pool

Lake Highlands (DallasDallas 362 reviewsDallas 362 reviews), Texas They say the best age to get children acclimated to water and swimming is around six-twelve months. The reasoning behind this is that they still have some memory of the fluid environment in the womb and it’s still natural for them. And as for using flotation devices for infants, the experts say it’s best for an infant to learn to swim properly without the use of them, but they are great supplemental training tools. Some of the vertical floaties can be turned horizontally to help the little bodies move through the water. All done with proper guidance and oversight, of course. And the biggest thing about having your infant in the water, besides safety, is to make the swimming experience pleasant and fun for them. But swimming with Christopher Dean didn’t turn out so fun for his 11 month-old. Guess Christopher didn’t realize his 11 month-old didn’t like being held underwater until his lips turned blue.

And neither did Natasha Dean, the baby’s mother and wife of the asshole with the temperament of a pissed off bee. The initial police reports state that Christopher and his family were swimming in the pool within his apartment complex. He was playing at one end of the pool with some other family members while Natasha and the baby were at the other end. He asked a couple of times to hold his namesake and exclaimed, “I’m his daddy”. With an mature, “whatever” retort from his adoring wife, Christopher copped a bit more attitude while inquiring about his paternity (”I’m not his daddy?” bullshit) and grabbed the floatie/baby and allegedly started dunking him. She supposedly tried grabbing the bobbing baby thing as he pushed her away. At one point in time, she was able to get the child’s head above water as he gasped for air after his lips had turned blue. At this time, another family member was able to make their way to the squabble and separate the two. All in all, Christopher dunked the baby about six times. (The baby was checked and is fine)

Now Christopher (19) is facing a charge of capital attempted murder of his infant son and is being held on $50,000 bail.

Oh, but what a difference a little reality makes. When I was researching this story for further information, it appears as though our fine heroic mother has changed her tune and sent an email to one of the journalists that covered the story in Dallas. Guess how she starts her email…(I know what you’re thinking…close…”he was just playing around” was the 3rd sentence!) The first sentence is actually one of my all-time favorites:  ”Listen, you need to get your facts straight”. She spews more…

“What parent hasn’t dunked their child under water? If that’s the case, my father, brother, and neighbors should all be in jail for capitol murder charges for dunking my son under water as well. This has all gotten out of control. Married people have problems. But this is wrong. My husband will not be found guilty for something he did not do. I will not be quiet.”

The entire email can be found here.

Well, well, it shall be quite interesting to see which story pans out. At the very least, maybe we’ll have an update stating Natasha Dean has been arrested for filing a false police report. Stupid twat.

Holy cow my anger (if i had any over that situation ) would have been directed at the woman. Even punching her in the mouth would have been 10000X better than dunking an innocent baby.
Fuckwad, finally they are charging someone with attempted murder. although 50k bail seems low. seems like so many skate from that charge
Natasha dean is just as bad for covering up for him. she needs to go down too.

But she LOVES him! “Please don’t take my baby-daddy to jail! You don’t know all the facts!” Only AFTER the attempted murder charges where filed of course.

There is no reason to dunk an 11 month old underwater at all, it’s just stupid. It’s obvious she was uncomfortable with it so why is she changing her tune now? You two deserve each other!

Dumb bitch. If your father, brother and neighbors have all dunked your baby out of anger, then, yeah, they should all be brought up on capital attempted murder charges. Durrrr…

Who doesn’t understand the very clear difference between doing something out of playfulness and doing something out of spite?

Good point Athena, if someone just swimming in the pool, maybe a neighbor, or a stranger did this, do you think she would still say they didn’t mean to do it?

I’ll admit, I’ve dunked my daughter under water before. She was 6 at the time and will be 8 next month. She’s a very good swimmer and we were playing. I didnt hold her under water or scare her at all doing it. My 5 year old, on the other hand, is scared of water unless she has a floatie on. She used to scream if I even took her off the steps of the pool. I would not ever dunk her under water! I am trying to get her to not be so afraid without a floatie on and dunking her would only justify her fear.
I think the mom is a dumb bitch…changing her tune only after he was arrested and charged. I think the story is true. He has a history of domestic violence, its not hard to believe he would do this. Now that she realizes the trouble he’s in she’s going to say she was lying. Wow. Way to be a mom. I hope she’s charged too…with neglect and falsify a police report.

Yeah, I was dunked underwater as a kid. My dad might’ve even dunked me a couple of times. But not as a fucking BABY. A baby can’t fight back, doesn’t have the strength to push off an adult man, etc. NO ONE dunks a fucking 11-month old in the pool unless they’re really, really stupid or really, really evil (or both).

From the CRIME Blog, a response:

Posted by Concerned in Dallas @ 2:55 PM Thu, Jul 30, 2009

This girl needs to have her mental state checked out. The day she went to the police station she was told that if she chose to not file charges CPS would remove her child from her care and custody. Dallas Police also advised her that since she had four previous charges against him for Domestic Violence, and had dropped the charges, that she needed to understand the seriousness of what she was doing. She is too young to understand that by making a written statement to the police, she can now be charged with Falsifying a Police Report.

At the time she made her police report, she was very calm and spoke to the officer for about 15 minutes before going back and making her official statement. She knew what she was doing and prior to her arrival at the police station had talked to a close friend about what had happened and told this friend that she wanted to file charges on her husband for attempting to drown her baby.
So now she gets to go to jail and lose her child.

Parenting isn’t a game – and some learn that the hard way. I would hope that any other witnesses (if there are any) would come forward to clear this up, once and for all.

I (as well as other posters there) noticed she seems to have a habit of speaking/typing without thinking, as indicated with this statement:

If that’s the case, my father, brother, and neighbors should all be in jail for capitol murder charges for dunking my son under water as well.

Gee – was your baby reincarnated? lmao. She truly is, as Athena so eloquently put it, a “Dumb bitch”.
