Craig Stillwagon Picked The Wrong Girl

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - Who knows what I may have been typing here had a 14-year-old girl not behaved the way she did on the afternoon of July 9th. As she was walking near Fort Bend County middle school, a man in a pickup stopped along side her and asked if she needed a ride to wherever she was headed. After saying no she didn’t the man got out of his truck,  grabbed her arm and demanded she get inside his vehicle. Bad move as this teen was not going to oblige. She fought back, including kicking him in the shins, freeing herself to run for help. She was able to provide police with a description of the man, his truck and even gave a partial license plate number.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usThis young lady did a remarkable job,” said Fort Bend Chief Deputy Craig Brady. “Not only did she fight and even injure her attacker, she memorized part of his license plate number and gave a very accurate description of his truck, including some very distinctive markings on it.

One officer thought the girl’s description matched someone he was familiar with. They ran his name and found that the partial plate information matched 43-year-old Craig Stillwagon’s.  The 14-year-old was then able to identify him via a photo lineup. On Tuesday, an arrest warrant was issued. They didn’t have to wait long to apprehended him as later that same day he was pulled over for a traffic violation.  Stillwagon is now charged with attempted kidnapping and being held in the Fort Bend County Jail on $150,000 bond.

Kudos to the girl in the story. It’s a shitty thing that kids cannot walk down the street without fear of becoming a snatched-of-the-street statistic. Luckily this particular chick did everything right when finding herself in this rare situation. Not saying that that her actions will always work in cases like this, but if someone is trying to stuff you in their vehicle, it’s probably not to take you to go ride a unicorn. FightingFighting reviewsFighting reviews like your well-being depended on it should be top priority as in all likelihood, that’s probably the case.

You gotta check out this video. As noted by the reporter, check out the young girl behind Stillwagon’s mother when the reporter asks if the person arrested could possibly be her son and she says no.

I’ve always taught my kids to run, scream, kick, whatever it takes as soon as something should happen, because once they’re in a vehicle or alone with that person, they’re good as dead. Apparently this young girl’s family taught her the same. Way to go!

Holy crap! That video is very telling! I am so glad this girl used her wits and fought back. Looks like now they need to be investigating his home life. I bet there’s a lot more to that young girl’s story in the video.

Kudos to the young lady, you did perfect in that situation, way to hold your own honey!!!! Even though you were probably terrified, how dare a man scare a child like this, how fucking dare he…… He should rot in jail forever for that attempt because you never know what he would have done if she would have not fought him off and ran like hell, so for that, I would through his stupid fucking sorry ass right into prison with BUBBA and never let him out, he lost his rights,by trying to take someone elses, how dare he, but great job kddo, you should become a detective, you would probably make a EXCELLENT detective, smart girl.

Hooray for the 14 year old. Craig Stillwagon, the deer in the headlights look, agrees with you…NOT!

What is wrong with that old lady? I want to take a plyable branch off the trees in my complex, and whip that old lady with it.

The secondary crime scene is where the really bad shit happens. Fight back and don’t be taken to the second crime scene. Kudos to this little girl for refusing to become a victim!

i am so happy this little girl kept her wits and not only spared herself more trauma than she was already going through, but helped identify this man (i know i’m playing fast and loose with the word “man” there) and perhaps spare another person from going through what she did. way to go!!!
