Tulsa, OKJust like the old saying, “play with  fire and you’re bound to get burned,” 33-year old Nicole Partridge learned a horrific lesson on just how bad being involved with meth can be. Around 2 p.m. this last FridayFriday reviewsFriday reviews, police received a 911 call from Partridge after a domestic dispute with her 23-year old boyfriend, Kenneth McCurley. They found Partridge outside a residence critically burned, from the neck down. Partridge told firefighters who responded to the scene that after dousing her with gasoline, McCurley threw a cigarette on her to ignite a fire.

Kenneth McCurley

Police initially believed McCurley had barricaded himself inside the home after Patridge told them that McCurley was inside cooking meth, but they did not find him. What police did find were some components of a meth lab. It was not until early SaturdaySaturday reviewsSaturday reviews morning when McCurley was found. He was charged with first degree arson and assault with a deadly weapon with his bond set at $20,000. McCurley had a warrant relating to charges from 2006, including unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing an officer, and forcible entry.

When interviewed by investigators, McCurley said that he accidentally splashed Coleman fuel on his girlfriend and he ran because she told him to. Partridge told a physician a different story. Prior to being sedated, she said that her burns were not an accident. “He will try to say it was an accident but don’t believe him,” she said. Partridge remains in very critical condition as of SundaySunday reviewsSunday reviews morning. She received second and third degree burns over 80 percent of her body. She is not expected to survive.

Hmmm…you think maybe they were sampling some of their own product? McCurley has to be an ignorant fuckstain in the first place, but burning someone alive?

Sad thing: There’s no easy fix…if there is a fix at all. It’s an epidemic that has seeped into the agrarian mesh of our culture and there it breeds surreptitiously in little toolsheds, abandoned buildings, even vehicles. One would think in the rural areas especially, they would be easy to cull out by word of mouth alone. Not so. It’s a guerilla war and they are tough (if not impossible) to win.

I hope he gets the death penalty.

I have a deep, deep fear of being burned to death, so this gives me the shivers. How much she must be suffering. I’m glad she had the presence of mind to say it wasn’t an accident. I hope they can use that statement in court, and he gets the needle.

Meth is so dangerous. The production of it alone is like fooling around with a chemical bomb in your kitchen. They are lucky they didn’t blow up the whole house; not that the outcome would have been much different for her.

I don’t feel a bit sorry for her! She allowed him to cook meth in her house. She is 33, and got some of her own medicine.

You don’t feel sorry for someone who got set on fire? What kind of medicine of hers did she receive? I do not get what you are saying. Please explain how this woman, even if she was a meth user, deserves to be set on fire by her boyfriend.

    Fron source article:

Officers said Friday that a meth lab may have been in the house, but that could not be confirmed.

Based on what was reported in the article, there is no confirmation of a meth lab. This was all over a domestic dispute and everybody knows those women that are being controlled and abused deserve it right? :eyeroll:

I wonder if she was trying to make him stop cooking in the house? That is if he was cooking in the house. I wonder if that could have been the start of the dispute?

General Question: If you spend a lot of time with your foot in your mouth, is it possible to get athlete’s tongue?

I know it sounds heartless, but I just don’t feel sorry for anyone (when they are breaking the law) that cooks meth or uses it. She knew the dangers of being around a meth lab (explode, etc.) I know it was gas from her boyfriend, and not the meth lab, but I just don’t feel sorry for her. Just the way I feel, and what I mean by medicine is, she took a risk of explosion and/or getting burned with it (by cooking meth), it just happened in a different way, by her boyfriend. In my opinion, they both got burned.

I never like to see anyone hurt; however, when they are up to no good, it does not bother me as much as if they were truly an innocent victim.

“Finger roll @ HT,” Where is that in the article? I read “What police did find were some components of a meth lab.” Also, MAYBE she was in on the meth lab too, and does not want to take the rap for it; hince her statment ” He will try to say it was an accident but don’t believe him.”

“Finger roll @ HT,” Where is that in the article? I read “What police did find were some components of a meth lab.”

Had you been paying attention you would have seen where I posted From the Source Article and then maybe found this link which is posted at the end of the article written by FF.

Now tell me, do components of a meth lab mean there was a lab there, or was there components being assembled to construct a meth lab? Was he assembling a meth lab and that was what the two of them argued about? Did he have a meth lab and she forced him to disassemble it causing the argument?

I don’t have that information, but one would assume you do based on your comments. Please share your wealth of knowledge with us. Please share with us what Her own medicine is based on that knowledge you are hording.

Watch that finger, you seem to have poked yourself in the eye with it.

You can’t explain it either. I did not read the source article, but I guess because YOU did YOU know more. Your soooooooooo smart and know all about what happened, what everyone was thinking, and the why to it. :Bow:pray:holly:

Based on that I would have thought you knew the answers to all these questions and used those answers to form your opinion? I mean she got some of her own medicine right? It was reasonable for her to be set on fire by this asshole right?

BTW, informed is not spelled s-m-a-r-t. If you again had been paying attention, you would see I don’t know what happened. That is why I asked the questions.

Here I had someone comment in a manner that suggested greater knowledge of the situation in you, and asked a few questions and you seem to have gotten all butt-hurt over it. I suppose my first mistake was assuming you knew anything about what you were commenting on. My bad.

    Have a happy Monday, :)

HT had you i-n-f-o-r-m-e-d me that my first statment was your question, but you answered “that it was from a the source article”, I would have taken the time to explain it to you, and I guess I should in some little way explain it to you because you have a problem u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d-i-n-g what an opinion is. I said “I don’t feel sorry for her” uh opinion. That is how I feel after reading the story posted by FF. Maybe I should have read the source document before responding, yes my bad. If you would have been more clear in what you were asking, it would not look as if someone was butt-hurt, now would it. I said “I don’t feel sorry for her”, then, because you DON’T, I have to explain it to you. Why do I owe you an explaination? if what I have said in the past posts of mine still does not answer your question, or why you think I should have pity for her, I cannot explain any further.

Seeing you have to have the last word, I will let you. Good Day

@ Jury, I can almost see where you’re coming from.. There are some scum that I wouldn’t mind being set on fire (ie. the people involved in this: http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/07/13/florida.couple.slain/index.html), but I did not read anything that would condemn this woman to die such an agonizing death.. I’m not asking you to be compassionate, I’m asking that in the future you take an in-depth look at all the facts before you make a comment like the one you did above.

Yes, this woman undoubtedly had meth cooking going on in her household. I mean, look at this guy. If they found components, it’s because they were cooking meth, so I don’t see the point of scrutinizing that particular detail.

That said, I can’t imagine much, certainly not meth manufacturing, that justifies this crime or that woman’s suffering. That’s kinda the point, isn’t it? If Jury disagrees, that’s because he’s one callous S.O.B., which is nothing to be proud of.

That said, I don’t like seeing kids suffer either. You agree that they were both into manufacturing, most likely selling. It was never said or reported on, but most of us pretty much know she was involved. I don’t like seeing anyone die. I really don’t. I just don’t care what happens to her. I’m sorry that bothers you Athena, but you know, I don’t care what you think, why should you care what I do?

  22. Jury
    7:18 pm on July 13th, 2009

Hey thanks Athena, we can agree too. I do appriciate that. I like it when we can ask a question and be civil, instead of snotty and cruel like others here.

No, kids were not mentioned. Here in Dallas, we have a couple of cases where drug dealers and makers are facing charges of murder for distribution of cheese and others. When people make drugs for profit, I always feel its going to kids, somehow. I don’t do drugs, but I live in a drug infested city. I hate drugs and people who make and sell them. My thoughts are that this is what is wrong with our country, or at least one big problem. I have no pity for someone associated with, making, or selling drugs. If it is found that this woman had no idea, which we both know she did in some way, I would feel bad for I said.

    P.S. Where’s Veronica?

It’s been 105 degrees here for 11 days and no relief in sight, maybe my brain is fried?

This POS was my neighbor at that house. it was HIS house for the record, not his girlfriends. I was pregnant with kenny moved in next dorr to us, (its a duplex) and from the first time he step foot in my door i knew he was trouble, and i couldnt trust him. he told me all about him life and only made me fear him more. he is CRAZY. i was about 8 months along when kenny and my husband and a friend of ours got into a huge fight outside. Kenny owed me money for the electric bill. he didnt pay rent, gas or anything on his own. the slumlord told us if he didnt pay hed be evicted, that was not the case, so i sent the boys after him to get it, he could afford a truck and all this stuff but couldnt afford half of the electric. the boys went over there just to talk, and kenny went off of them(this is the second time an altercation had happened between him and my husband), i walked around to tell them a cop was down the street so take it inside. before i could get 2 words out, kenny came at me with a big stick, and my husband grabbed him and threw him down to protect me. then my husband and my friend beat the crap out of him, my husband has a scar under his eye where kenny burned him. how interesting, kenny has a habbit of burning people with his cigs. a week later my husband went to jail, and kenny tried to act buddy buddy with me, but i was not about to live in fear in my own house. i knew kenny was a meth head, and i knew he would only bring trouble. so i moved out. this guy is a nut case and i knew it from the moment i laid eyes on him. we had so many problems with him. god says love thy neighbor, but i think in this case, god was the one who told me to get away from this one. i consider myself and my family lucky for trusting my instincts, i just wish nicole would have listened to hers. its a shame that this woman will die. i hope they give him the death penalty when she does, because this is his thrid strike according to him.

also for those of you who said nicole should die because of this, you dont know them or their real story. yes they are meth freaks, for that they should be punished. the only person that deserves to die is kenny!! she was a good girl and a good mom. she tried so hard to stay away from kenny. but he is a crazy SOB and wouldnt leave her alone, SHE EVEN MOVED TO A DIFFERENT CITY! but he still managed to find her. he would come over to our house to use the phone and cry to her and beg her to just let him see her and the kids. then he would start screaming at her. this girl is a victim. yes she shouldnt have been involved with him, but until you have actually been in that kind of relationship, please dont say anything. its so hard to keep yourself away from people like that when they are that crazy. TPD doesnt do crap about it, i know first hand. so give this poor woman some respect. and bash on kenny, hes the one that did the crime, and in my eyes will never fully do his time till he is burning in hell.

Thanks for the update MadeaBecBec. And thanks for posting raynee gill. I do wish he was the one who burned himself up and not his girlfriend. You’re right in saying he is the one who did the crime and deserves the shaming. What surprised me is given the intense amount of godawful pain she was experiencing, she still had the strength and presence of mind to tell the doctor he did it on purpose. Just heart-wrenching.

wooh, I don’t want to see anyone burned alive, never. I don’t like illegal drugs. And yes, I don’t feel too much pity for anyone associated with them if bad things happen. Had she owned a bar, I would feel sorry for her, very much so. In reading this article, had the words drugs, or lab never come-up, I would be very upset this happened to her.
