Paul Klick Was Clicking In On The Neighbors

Damascus, OR- For the last year, Jeff and Traci suspected someone was lurking outside their home and peeping into the windows at night because they’ve seen footprints in their flower beds. Traci said she knew someone was coming around because she would rake the dirt and look for tracks the following day. Traci had spent many sleepless nights looking out for the peeping-tom, but never saw anyone until 2 a.m. Thursday morning when she got a feeling that someone was out in front of her 14-year old daughter’s window. Traci’s gut feeling was correct and she called 911 when she seen a man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt looking into her daughter’s window.

While the officers were responding, Jeff and a neighbor from across the street snuck up on the peeping pervert. They noticed he had a camera around his neck and was holding it up to the window. The two men immediately tackled the peeping-tom to the ground. As the three men scuffled, one of them was mildly injured, but they were able to detain the creepy clicker until police arrived. The most shocking part of it all, was when Jeff and Traci learned that the peeping-tom was their 43-year old neighbor, Paul Klick who lives less than 200 feet from their home. It gets worse. For the last two years, their daughter had babysat for the father of three.
“The fact that it’s someone in our own neighborhood that’s a family man that’s doing these horrible things to young children, I just want everyone to be aware you have to protect yourself first,”Jeff said. The police cited Klick on one charge of invasion of personal privacy, which is a misdemeanor, and he was later released. The deputies also searched Klick’s home and are still gathering evidence against him. I would not be surprised to hear he also recorded the girl while she was in his own home using his bathroom. Police believe Klick has been peering into windows for as many as 10 years. Jeff and Traci said other neighbors have reported seeing hands and arms reaching into windows and some of them have suspected a peeping tom has even broken into their homes. But the kicker of it all is what Klick’s dear old mother is saying. She claims her son is innocent (shock) and that it’s totally normal for people in that neighborhood to be out late at night watching for meteor showers. Bwahahaha! Whatever helps you sleep at night, Grandma. I would be surprised if the guy the tackled was not a neighbor!
He had all that time and availability to get comfortable and close while being familiar with his surroundings. My sister had a wanker out side her window. she jammed him in the face with a toilet plunger through the blinds one night.

OK, peeping is bad enough. But stepping all over my carefully tended flower beds? The pervy little wanker who dares mess with my garden better pray the police get to him before I do.

That is just creepy. I had a peeping tom once, about 3 years ago. My mom actually caught him in the act, but she didnt tell me for months. She knows my temper and knew I’d be pissed and would make a scene right then and there. When she did tell me she said that there was a guy on a walkie talkie at my bedroom window talking to someone. The guy on the other end of the walkie talkie said something about “if you get caught you’ll go to jail.” My mom said “yeah you will,” and walked off *she was outside*. I dont know who the guys were but I think it was my apartment manager. He’s been caught looking in a 12 year old girls bedroom, red handed, but claimed he was doing maintenance. I have lived here going on 6 years and who knows how long it had been going on. And to have walkie talkies?? That just creeps me out even more…he had a fucking look out! Who knows what they saw!

I was scarred by a Peeping tom years ago….I hope this family can feel safe knowing this man was caught. I had to move. The feeling of violation is hardcore.

I’m sorry to hear that. I was going to say that it would be hard to feel safe with him out especially since he is there neighbor, but hearing he was arrested again is good news, but he might get out again. I think it is going to be hard for this family for quite some time!
