Ya know what- the authorities need to take all her kids from her …and for God Sake do not give them to the stupid ass relatives…they sound like a bunch of trailer trash hillbillies…She is how old and has a bunch of kids already…is the “boyfriend” the father of all of them? Good Gawd…and he’s going to stick up for her??? She must be a hell of a piece of tail for him to just shrug his shoulders and accept the fact that she killed that baby…Hope you assholes have a bunch of money…since she’s worth going to bat for…you’re going to have to cough up big bucks to get her out of trouble…and if you can’t buy her way out of prison…won’t that be a fun outing for the family and surviving kids…let’s go visit mommy dearest in prison!

Not gonna lie. When my boys were babies, they were binky addicts. Totally hooked. When they’d lose the binky in the middle of the night, or that much needed nap, believe you me, it crossed my mind that there ought to be a way to strap that thing on so it didn’t fall out of their mouth. My husband worked sometimes over 70 hours a week (still does, but now I’m used to it), so not only was I exhausted, I was trying to do it all by myself. I GET being tired and desperate for baby to sleep and not wake anyone else up. But seriously… what kind of idiot do you have to be to tie a blanket around a baby’s face?? I mean, “they” tell you not to even let a baby have a blanket in the crib because of the suffocation risk (same as crib bumpers, stuffed animals, flat sheets, pillows, etc), so tell me how tying it around his face would seem like a reasonable alternative?? Ugh.
And totally LOL at the neck tattoo comments.

ok….Now tell me who in their right mind,( maybe that sentence there stands alone)would even think it would be ok, to tie a blanket around a baby’s head to…hold a binky in place??? This is just not even something that would cross the mind of a semi-sane individual. This already child bearing and raising mother should not even be put into the same classifications as “Mothers” she’s a piece of shit, waste and doesn’t deserve any sympathy…excuses excuses…that’s all they have to say anyways.

As a parent to a one year old, stories like this make me sick. Lazy, negligent parenting is so disgusting. The father doesn’t sound any too distraught about the death of his baby. He sounds more like she shrunk his favorite sweater in the wash.

I don’t even think it was his favorite sweater, the way he sounded.

what ever happened to changing the baby, trying to feed it, and if all else fails put it in its crib, shut the door half-way and let it cry??? i was a lazy mom, breast fed my daughter and for the first couple of months she slept in bed with me (yeah, i know and i’ve heard it all but she’s 5 so get over it), if she woke in the night i would change her then roll over and stick a boob in her mouth. when she started sleeping by herself she was always fussy in her crib…so i’d feed her, change her, then let her cry….
she would cry for about 10 minuets and then be out..

Everyone wants to be like she did this on purpose.

How do you accidentally tie ANYTHING around a baby’s head? Even if the child’s nose was not covered and the sinuses clear, I would worry about spit up/drool being aspirated. Babies are not noted for their smarts in figuring out what to do in an emergency.

What the hell is a “state of frame”!?

I can’t believe anyone could actually defend this miserable cunt. How the fuck does tying a blanket around a baby’s mouth and nose seem like an even REMOTELY good idea?????

I think she was trying to refer to the word, “mind”, but having lost her own, she has no frame (pun intended) of reference to make the corresponding connection.

When an individual’s mouth is sealed against their will, whether an adult or a child, the possibility strongly exists that they will experience suffocation. When the person is in fear or discomfort and is crying, this possibility becomes a probability, especially in the case of children.

Even when in good health, most infants and toddlers often have sinus issues, and the telltale runny noses to match, and this causes them to be almost exclusively mouth breathers.
In the case of a screaming two month old infant, it should be painfully obvious to even the family dog that the child’s only airway is by mouth, and IMO, when cases like this one occur, I personally have a very difficult time believing that this is not the premeditated intent and desired outcome of the parent.

I’d like to seal her nose and mouth shut, and let her try to breathe through
a coffee stirrer.

My son, who never was a fan of the pacifier, was a world class binky spitter…he could pop that thing out of his mouth and across the room in the blink of an eye…

This is why pacifiers are called “fuzzy suckers” in my family. They get spit out, fall on the floor and get covered in hair in no time.

I’m really thankful that my 7 month old niece who is living with me currently is an exceptionally jovial little gal. All smiles and cooing. Of course, that means if I ever have a baby, I’ll get the colicky one.
