The ONLY important things here are that this girl was deliberately and knowingly breaking the law, AND she was endangering children as she broke the law. If she has some deep philosophical beliefs about drug laws, then maybe her education track should have been towards a field that would allow her to influence lawmakers. Actually, a drug dealer who does not use is actually worse in my book. This means she was doing it purely for financial gain and knows better than to partake herself. I have a lot more respect for people who disagree with the drug laws and use and deal a little on the side.

there’s nothing funny about selling drugs at a daycare (and i didn’t read anything here about her leaving the children unattended. but, since we’re on that subject, there is a very practical and good reason that there are at least two or three people attending to the children at a time….you can’t be everywhere at the same time, attending to all of the children. so, if there are three people attending the children, they are needed….therefore, if kelsey went off to do her drug deal, they were down one needed person and she kind of WAS leaving some children unattended), but i do appreciate the change of aesthetics on the FP. : )

and i couldn’t care any less if her mercedes is a day old or or 50 years old….the fact that one of the things she apparently first said was “i go to robert morris university” is an implication that she feels that she isn’t like the other drug dealers…..yes, kelsey, you are!

But at the end of the day, this story isn’t really about whether or not she deals or uses or A plus B, – and it is not about how many people were or were not looking after the children (even if possibly some of the news papers lead with that, D’D didn’t), it is about someone dealing drugs at a kindergarten because she thought that would be safer for her, without considering for a moment what it might mean to the safety of her young charges.

If it was my child in that day-care I would be livid with her.
