Pueblo, Colorado–Her life started off rough…born behind bars to a drug addicted mother 9 months ago, Iyana Perez had very little chance of growing up in a happy and healthy environment. Her mother, Selena Olsen, who struggles with drug addictions and other criminal activities, has been in and out of jail and/or detox on a fairly regular basis. Iyana’s father, Ted “Chewy” Perez, is a convicted child molester with drug problems and a criminal history of his own. Back in May, Ted allegedly kidnapped Iyana – though he threatened to kill the child, she was found alive and unharmed eight days later. After that nonsense, DCF stepped in and placed Iyana in the care of her grandmother, Snowie Buehler, a recovering addict. Snowie was already caring for Selena’sSelena reviews
two older children. Three weeks later, Iyana was found dead in a dumpster.

Snowie told authorities that she had left Iyana with her son Daniel on Thursday evening – she needed to work the next morning and her regular babysitter was unavailable. She was aware that her step-grandson and Iyana’s cousin, Kevin Buehler, was staying at Daniel’s residence, but because she had seen him interact with Iyana before, she wasn’t too concerned. It is believed that sometime later that evening, Daniel placed Iyana in Kevin’s bed, and well, she just ‘poofed.’ At about 9:50 FridayFriday reviews
morning, police received a call from Daniel’s residence reporting that Iyana had been kidnapped sometime after 4:00 a.m. Hours later, Iyana was found, wrapped in plastic bags, in a dumpster behind a grocery store less than 200 feet from Daniel’s trailer. The culprit couldn’t have been Selena, she’s in detox. Ted couldn’t have possibly have done it, he’s locked up. So, who the hell killed that baby? “I got to the trailer, my son is hysterical, his wife is hysterical, but Kevin looked concerned,” Snowie said. “I asked Kevin, “What the (expletive) did you do to my granddaughter?’ I told the cops ‘I believe he did something to my granddaughter. I have a bad feeling about Kevin. This doesn’t feel right.’ ” After questioning Kevin, I’m sure the cops had the same bad feeling. In his first interview with police, Kevin claimed that someone must have snatched Iyana from his bed as he slept. Police called bullshitOn Bullshit reviews. Seems the family has a pit-bull mix that barks loudly at strangers, and oddly enough, there wasn’t a peep out of the dog that morning. During his second interview, Kevin made statements admitting involvement in the baby’s death. When asked whether he molested the girl, “his answers raised suspicion,” Pueblo police Sgt. Eric Bravo said. “That’s something we’re looking at.” The results from Iyana’s autopsy should be released this afternoon.
Kevin Buehler, 22, was booked late Friday on suspicion of first-degree murder by a person in a position of trust. Depending on the autopsy results, the charge could be upgraded.

I think that is a pretty strong statement. The grandmother is a recovering addict. She was going to work and needed a sitter. Seems like she had tried to step up to the plate. Her son and his wife were hysterical and reported the baby missing. The grandmother immediately suspected this guy and reported it to police. This was the action of ONE man.
As far as the parents are concerned, its too bad drugs don’t make you sterile. They need to start lacing the shit with birth control. Seriously.

This one has me haunted. The big question, WHY? is still looming, not that anything this bastard says will make much difference. Nothing will make sense.
NO dip shit, you were in detox, so how, do tell, were you the safer option for Iyana? and the loser father being a RSO, clearly a failure and a loser. This poor child had no real chance. And the grandmother is probably the only one feeling about right, blaming herself as to leaving Iyana in the care of fuckheads, well, I can’t blame her for feeling bad on that.
Right on that grandma. The cycle of shit. DSS, as much as they often drop the ball is not to blame here. Mother, you can’t be a little OK with drugs, you got to kill that demon, see how it has all ended up with a dead baby? I do not wish you worse anguish than you feel, I truly do believe your remaining days are numbered as you realize how badly Iyana was failed.

Well, at least nobody is pretending it didn’t happen. Kevin plainly knows there is no way the dumpster could figure in the story if it was an innocent accident.
I cannot imagine how the granny must be beating herself up. And the mother’s lashing out against DSS is just her way of trying to keep the blame at bay for now. She’ll see eventually that her choices did put her daughter in harm’s way. Please someone comfort this family.

The only possible reason to have that is to con someone. Or set up a thief. From my days in the dope world (long time ago!), I will say that it can be pretty funny watching someone trying to unclog their nose from snorting flour that they thought was dope & had stolen. Karma can work in mysterious ways.

Fake drugs… man. I went to school with this kid who was braggin about he bought a bag of “dope ass hydro” from his older brother’s friend. He brought it onto the school bus and everyone burst out laughing, it was nothing but lawn clippings. Idiot paid 50 bucks for it too.
And rotten apple, I wasn’t so much refering to the grandmother, more the mother, the baby’s father and the son. Sorry, but to me that’s a family of losers and that adorable baby had no chance from the get-go.
