Shit happens?? Shit happens???!!? A child died! That “shit” does not just happen. This shit happened because a dumb bitch left a handicapped child alone to fend for herself. It was neglect leading to a death.

you can spin it any way you want, but if someone is a halfway decent and caring parent, then they know this “shit” doesnt just happen.

Let me start off first by stating that Amber will be missed! I just learned of this tragedy this evening and my heart aches. For the smart ones that may have guessed, yes I know Raven, her children and family.And have so for over 20 yrs.
Its really easy or people to sit behind a screen, and pass judgement. I’ve seen it so many times on these blogs, and I pray that the Gibbons family is not taking any of this to heart, and that Raven continues to get stronger. She is hurting, and she understands her mistake. Before you place your stubby fingers on the keyhpad to respond, know that I DO NOT BELIEVE IN HURTING A CHILD OR AN ELDERY PERSON! The choice she made was wrong, however its not going to bring Amber back to ridicule Raven in your lil blogs.
Theres so much more to the story, and its ridiculous the assumptions that have been made. I havent had the time to read all of the comments, however some made comments about her picture…..who takes a glamourous jail photo? The woman had just lost her child, take a closer look at her puffy cried out eyes…..
Ambers father is active in his kids life, and he resides with Raven, as if that was really any of your business…
Raven was bailed out of jail by her parents…why I reveal this..for you to know that she has a supportive family. She is not a stressed out crack addict. Her sisters adored all of her children, and Amber was very loved!!! She wasnt a burden, a number of people helped Raven with Amber, as many of you know, having a child with special needs can be hard at times.

All of you are wrong. My mom is one of the leading investigators on this case. Were do you get your information and where did this stupid sight come from? I can’t say much but what I will clear up is this woman did not close the door and this woman did not leave for 25minutes. I really would like to know where everyone is getting their info. I do believe she’s wrong for even stepping out for even 1 minute. I wish I could tell all of your much more. But its looking good for her because all of the stuff you guys are saying is wrong , backwards, and not true. My ondolenses to the family of both parents, I’m sincerly sorry for your loss. And another thing I would hate to have accident with my 5 month old you guys would bash me to the fulliest not even knowing the truth. But if anyone has anything to ask me off the record id be more than willing to help. You people are such idiots you never believe everything you read or hear say.

When a horrible accident occurs do you think clearly at all when you’re being interviewed?

Why do you think cops interview people as soon as possible after an event like this? So they can’t dream up some lame story.

For the record, my education was just good enough to teach me not to leave a disabled child alone in a bathtub for ANY amount of time, shame the sea cow didn’t get as good as I got.

I am also smart enough to not attempt to defend the actions of a child murderer, again, shame you didn’t get as good as I got.

God’s role is the FINAL judgement. Until then there’s the much-vaunted “Jury of ones’ peers.” WE are part of the aforesaid peer-group. Hence, we DO get to judge here on Earth.
Sometimes we get carried away with the name-calling here. However, as often as not, these are mere descriptives of the perpetrators’ physical features, and/or their demeanor. In this case the term “Sea Cow” seems to be quite apt from both sides.
The baseline reality here is the FACT that she had, at the very least, negligently caused the death of her disabled child. At the most, she purposefully, intentionally robbed that child of Gods’ most precious gift: LIFE!
