Terrell Scott Tortured And Traumatized

Easton, Pennsylvania–Authorities are calling the allegations horrific. That, my friends, is an understatement. Terrell Scott, 23, is accused of torturing his girlfriend’s three daughters for more than a year. He abused them with lit cigarettes, cable wire, broomsticks, a claw hammer, and nail clippers. Police believe he began his attacks on the girls in September of 2007 and didn’t cease until October 2008. Authorities began the investigation into the allegations in November 2008, after the girls finally found the nerve and the courage to speak up about the abuse. Just this past Tuesday, a warrant was issued for his arrest. The girls were 8, 10, and 13 when the torture began, and the list of allegations is truly stomach-churning.

It is believed that Terrell beat the children with broomsticks and whipped them with cable wire. He is accused of burning the 8-year-old child’s foot with a lit cigarette. Authorities believe the child had also been sexually assaulted. And for some twisted, fucked up reason, Terrell pulled on the child’s belly button with nail clippers. W.T.F? And, if all of that isn’t enough to make you nauseous, Terrell admitted to slicing the 10-year-old’s fingernails, right down the center, with a knife and breaking four of her teeth with a claw hammer.

Terrell Scott, of Bethlehem, turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday. He now sits behind bars on $500,000 bail, facing charges of attempted rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault, three counts of indecent assault, indecent exposure and 11 counts each of endangering the welfare of children and simple assault. Two of the children are now in state custody and one is staying with friends. I’m not finding anything being reported on the mother, but, you can not tell me she didn’t know what the fuck was going on in that house. If there is any justice in the world at all, I will be able to add her name to this story in the near future. There does seem to be a Myspace out there in Terrell’s name, but, since I can’t guarantee it is his, I won’t post the link.

It's so messed up that the women and her girls are lying!!! I've known the mom and the girls for over three yrs. The mom and the girls all have police records, which the Easton cops and Easton Children and Youth are well aware of, way before my son was ever involved in his Ex's (Crystal Hodgkins) life. It's messed up that for some reason that bit of info was left out. I have so much evidence to show that the police messed up A LOT with this case and evidence to show that my son is innocence. Mind you my son doesn't even have a police record. So everyone who feels my son will gets his, just think how strange it is that all of Crystal Hodgkins and all of her daughter's wrong doings weren't even mentioned. And by the way Crystal and the girls, who called Terrell their "Daddy" and me "Grand mom", just want to say thanks a lot for putting my son behind bars. Just 2 let every1 know, my son's ex is now saying that she lied and didn't know that Terrell could get in so much trouble. She was mad that Terrell was leaving her and trying 2 get custody of Josh. But Crystal won't go 2 the court and she she lied because she knows she'll get in trouble. Thanks a lot Crystal But on top of all that, my son was never read his Miranda Rights, he was denied 2 see a lawyer, and his bail was set at an excessive amount($500,000.00) for a bail so he couldn't get out of jail, and even thou the reports said he addmitted to some of the charges he didn't addmitt to anything. Also the police were very ruff with him. So on all that alone my son's case should be thrown out. So as u see my son didn't do anything wrong. Now he sits in a jail over a woman lying on him. So thanks everyone who said "such nice things" about my son.

After reading this at first I was pretty convinced Terrell was guilty but after reading Holly's comments and her page for him I'm kinda sorta thinking maybeeeee these girls are liars. We studied a case in school *I major in Criminal Justice* which was similar to this and it turned out the son was lying about his mother's boyfriend and that it had been her entire idea. I'm interested to see how this turns out. And I must also mention the masked avenger's comment on the chipping. Both of my brother's chipped their teeth from small incidents. I doubt that a claw hammer would simply "CHIP" the teeth, more like break 'em right out of her head.

K, after this I'm not going 2 spend anymore energy explaining the whole race card issue. All I have 2 say is this......Read what I wrote in my myspace, the one I made 4 my son!!!!!!!!! I saw the kids almost everyday for over 3 yrs. I love these kids like my own. My son worked, cleaned took the kids 2 and from school, while Crystal would always leave 4 a week or 2 at the 1st of the month when she got the welfare check. Children and youth have been in her life 4 over 20 yrs. They went 2 their house every week. A school teacher, anyone would of seen such horrible signs of abuse. Think about it my son is 6'3" 250 lbs. If he had taken a claw hammer he would of knocked the girl out or even kill her. Her teeth wouldn't of been just chipped but knocked out there would of been alot of blood, lots of swelling and bruises. The girl would of had 2 be rush 2 a hospital and also a dentist, but no.....there wasn't ever and I mean ever where there was any signs of abuse. My hair dresser did the girls hair weekly, and their nails. K I'm done....I have 2 put my energy towards clearing my son's name. I can't worry about what people think about my son.

Actually, stuff like that happens to people of all colors more often than I care to think. That said, if you truly believe your son is innocent, have you contacted any resources with your story? There are a number of organizations including The Innocence Project as well as a number of university law schools across the country who will investigate pro bono if they think you have a case.

In all honesty, this is exactly the hypersensitivity that is sucking the credibility out of the "race card".

What, exactly, are the "signs" you've seen? In a case like this, no prosecutor can afford to simply assume the kids are lying. That is to be determined in a court of law. Of course, even beyond that, prosecutors are often known for being overzealous and pursuing cases without evidence (if that's the case here). That's got nothing to do with your son's color.

A few years ago, a good friend of mine got pulled over by a cop who ended up lying on his police report. This friend, a young black male, was absolutely CONVINCED this wouldn't have happened to him had he been white.

A few months later, the exact same thing happened to me. I'm a white female. This kind of behavior on the cop's part has nothing to do with the color of the people he's pulling over and everything to do with his quotas and lack of integrity.

My point is - you and I both know that there are plenty of CLEAR, obvious examples of racism in the world today (for an example that is guaranteed to piss you off, go here). When you pull the race card about situations that may not be race at all, it lessens the power of the accusation when you're actually right, just like playing wolf.

Ma'am, lord knows that our justice system doesn't treat black folk right in general. But that doesn't mean that every black man who is wronged by the system is wronged because he's black, you know?

it's a screwed up judicial system not racism, I'm not saying your son is guilty or not, just that being black isn't the issue. Personally from what I've seen the minute a women says the abuse word the male is guilty until proven innocent, don't matter what he says or what witnesses say. Your screwed till you spend a lot of money on lawyers and phycobabalist in court. It's just that everyone needs to cover their ass, by placing the him in jail they can't go wrong

K so u explain it 2 me. I'm guessing ur white. Let me ask u something if u woke up as a black man, and u had 2 spend the rest of ur life as a black man what would u do? I was lucky 2 grow up in a up scale town. My father was the 1st black dean of Wellesley college where he taught history. Now he's one of the top professers at Lehigh Uni. teaching history, and also has his on dept. So I didn't raise my kids without manners, or swearing, or talking slang, but most of all I taught all my 4 boys 2 treat women and people w/respect. I date white men all the time so I'm not any near being a racist, and neither r my boys. The bottom line is this, my son (age 23) told Crystal(age 47) that he was leaving her after being w/her 4 over 3 yrs. and getting custody of her son. He put up w/ her taking the kids money, and using it up 4 drugs, and not being the good mom she should be. So myself and my son reported her 2 children and youth, mind u she's been in the children and youth system for over 20 yrs. She's had 8 kids, one even died in foster care, and others were taken away. So when we report the things she would do, all of a sudden my son's in jail. The news got it wrong. He didn't confesson 2 all of the charges. A couple of lawyers found out he forced to make a confession. My son has never been in jail in his whole life. My son turned himself in at 9:00 am by 11:00 he went b4 a judge (the didn't appoint a lawyer either 4 him, set his bail 4 half a million dollars cash and in full, and was in a cell by 11:30 am that same day. And by 6:00pm the same day, the news were already reporting on it. So ur intitled 2 ur opinion. But until u walk in someone else's shoes it like u shouldn't judge until u've been through what I have gone through by just being a woman but also being black isn't easy, and at times when the system isn't doing right by u, u start 2 think about it, and if it shows signs of racism, u have 2 pull the race card. There r still a lot of white people who r a racist. Look at Obama, look at all the protection he needs. Some black people aren't like the ones u see in the videos, or tv shows. Just like I don't think all white people live in trailer parks. I wasn't trying 2 chew u out just trying 2 explain from my point of u. I work in the dental business and there is no way you could get hit in the teeth with a claw hammer and no one would know. Teeth don’t chip from that kind of impact they fracture or shatter. The pain would have been super bad and her face would have swollen like a balloon from the near immediate abscess. Have you ever noticed that hockey players have missing teeth vs. having broken ones, thats because enamel(the outer layer of our teeth) is super hard but the periodontal ligament is fairly weak and the tooth would likely be knocked out by this kind of impact. Now on the other hand vertical pressure (like chewing, or some one smacking you chin and closing your teeth to hard) can cause chips because the tooth is supported by bone in a vertical impact. So again, I think I’ll wait and see on this one.

No Crystal never took the kids ever to the dentist or doctors. The youngest daughter Angie age 3 now, well Angie(not my son's child) is half black and half white. Well my 15 yr. old swa Crystal take off her pissy diaper and the would put on another pissy diper that she'd dried and put it back on her. I saw the lost of pigment on Angie's legs and private area from infection from being placed in used diapers. I reported that. Why didn't children and youth take Angie away.

Another thing what isn't been told is Crystal's long police wrap sheet, and the fact she's been in the system for YEARS. SHE HAD 8 KIDS ALL TOGETHER. One of her kids died in foster care, and the others were taken away from her WAY BEFORE my son met her. Another thing that's not mentioned is that Crystal's son Josh(14) stood up for my son who he called Daddy, and said "My father didn't do any of these things, and my mother and sisters are lying."

I feel the cops forced my son to admitt to the charges maybe saying if u confess u won't go 2 jail. My son has been in jail since wed. he hasn't been able to make a phone call see a lawyer yet or have any visitors, because for some reason they didn't get to his paper work yet. He didn't even go before a judge yet.

So people think what u want. If people can't see that this is a racial thing, and it's a big story...OOOOhhh Big black man is a monster, did horrible things to little white girls.

Hi Holly. Honest question. Can you confirm that the 10 year old saw a dentist after the alleged teeth cracking incident? If Crystal "wouldn't pay the rent that ended up with evictions and even having a house comdemed, the gas bill, ect" (as stated on the myspace link) She doesn't seem like the kind of mom who would take her kids to the dentist on a regular basis.

On one hand, I really think that abuse this blatant and horrific would be detected by SOMEONE had it gone on an entire year as is alleged. On the other hand, I realize that it's possible these injuries were well concealed.

One one hand, the police documents state that he admitted to some of the abuse. On the other hand, I've heard too many stories of forced and falsified testimonies to take any admissions of this nature as gospel.

On one hand, I hate that children of drug addicts (assuming this is true) receive more scrutiny because of their parents' flaws. On the other hand, drug addicts are more likely to manipulate their kids out of spite, in my experience.

I'm looking forward to more information. Namely - the whipping with cables, the burning with cigarettes; sexual assault of children - this is the kind of stuff that leaves physical evidence. IS there any physical evidence?

The evidence they don't have. If u read carefully what I wrote u would see that the ex and her girls r lying. Read what the Mask Avenger, just said something so important!!!!!!!!Read it!!!!!! Don't u think someone, a teacher, camp conselor, children and youth would of seen any form of abusse 4 all those months. Crystal wants payback cause she's a known crackhead, and my son and I reported her poor parenting skills to Child and Youth and the police and her meal tickets (her kids) were taken away. Crystal got close to 2,000 dollars for those kids. Now how's she gonna get her durgs!!!!!

The mother of Terrell has alot of good points...I am not so sure that he is guilty of the crimes he has been charged with. I just hope he has a good attorney to help his case.I thought it was kinda hinky that it took so long to go after him. Where is all the proof and teachers would have noticed such severe abuse. According to Terrell's mom...she and her son called CPS on her and this was her way of retaliating.

This story hit a bit close to home for me. I know what this type of torture is like. You are always on edge waiting for the "moment" when you would be surprised by a slap across your face or some other form of "playing".

I had a similar sadistic, douche bag for a step father, or my momma's new penis. He would pass by us three and just smack us across our faces. At other times, he would destroy what we were playing with, take our plates of food away.

This continued amongst the other abuse we endured until one day I went insane. I was about 12 years old and had been taught to fight like a boy all my life. I beat that man down to the ground. To this day, I don't know where I got my strength but I had it when it most counted.

These girls will have a hard time trusting anyone. I hope and pray for them that they find someone that will love them, so that they are able to have a chance at normal life.

This is what strikes me as odd, assuming it isn't a typo. Supposedly, the abuse lasted throughout 11 months of investigation, get they didn't have enough to charge him with until recently?

That just doesn't make sense. I find it hard to believe that the injuries associated with the alleged abuse wouldn't be enough to justify charges soon into the investigation. In my experience, cases of this nature that take this long to file charges on are highly circumstantial. And, while I generally grant the DA's office the benefit of the doubt in the charges they file, I also happen to know three girls whose false testimony at the insistence of their drug addict mother landed their father in prison for sexual assault. So... it does happen, and cases like this can be difficult when there's an absense of physical evidence.

There r TONS of reports on the mom and the girls. Guess the Easton Police really wanted 2 look good and capture a black man, since they have a tarnish image. But there r so many people who saw the girls everyday, and there isn't any hospital records on the "beating, teeth broken the 13 yr.(which her pics r on my myspace pg.)mentioned wasn't even living w/them she live w/a women in Plamerton.

The girls do have reports and records, of them causing trouble in Easton. These girls had a lot of issues caused by their mom. Did the police or the news report that Crystal (who's white, 47 yrs old and a drug problem) has 8 kids all together? No they didn't. Her kids have been taken away b4, and even one of them died in foster care. This all happened way b4 my son ever met her. But everything that I know, things the girls told me.....will all come out in court.
