Lance Ballinger’s Father’s Day Gift – Out of Jail and a Dead Daughter

Onamia, Minnesota is about 32 miles SW of Brainerd, a name made famous for enough of us sick individuals who happened to enjoy the movie FargoFargo reviews. Onamia has a population of about 850 people and hopefully will be a couple less by the time this story plays out in the courtroom. The participants are the quintessential features on the Dreamin’ Demon, the kind who fit the prerequisites: selfish baby abusing motherfuckers with the propensity for criminal stupidity. I’m of course speaking of Lance Ballinger (23) and Kelly Friend, once boyfriend/girlfriend. Right now Lance is in a whole heap of trouble and with crossed fingers, Kelly will soon learn what it’s like when a mother makes shitty decisions regarding her children.

It all started with Lance throwing a little hissy fit when Kelly was incubating his little seed of hope. Attempting to vet his concerns about what would have been his third child in a calm and rational manner, he punched Kelly in the abdomen and exclaimed he’d rather see it dead than for her to have it. And with that statement Kelly turned and walked away, never to see that piece of shit again.

Oh, this is about Kelly and Lance and not a summation of what I would have done. No, Kelly decided he was the perfect parental unit and they indeed brought this loved child into the world and all was well once and for all. That is, until they had a little soiree at her pad. Being a little liquored up and a bit pissed, the incident of the uterus punching was brought up. Fists flying, babies dropping, this coveted child met the floor abruptly, a couple of times. Somewhat severely because she had to be air lifted to a nearby hospital. Silly Kelly, having the foresight she did, lied to the police and said her precious 17 month old pulled the baby off the couch and it was just the three of them at home at that time.

Now I’m not sure how fucked up of an individual you have to be to live in an apartment complex and not take note of surveillance cameras but apparently the police were just a little more observant. They actually recorded the entire guest list coming and going from that apartment. And Lance was one guest they seemed to take interest in.

Lance, catching the raw part of a shitty deal time and time again through their storybook romance, finally found himself tucked safely away in the jail for nearly two months for domestic abuse/no contact order, gross misdemeanor DUI and misdemeanor domestic assault. The assault victim was of course, his biggest fan. Those 2 months must have been hell on Kelly and absolutely no probation officer was going to keep her away from her man, especially on Father’s Day. After a little “welcome home” smack fest, she left her baby with Lance, his two other children, and his drunk 14 year old sister. Around midnight Lance called her on the phone telling her that he had reached his threshold of baby fun and for her to come get their daughter. And conveniently, she couldn’t catch a ride but did agree to come around 5 in the morning.

She did just that. Lance was passed out on the bed with the baby beside him. Grabbing baby Tila, she ventured home noticing nothing peculiar. It wasn’t long before law enforcement officers responded to her plea of an unresponsive infant. They also noticed Tila had a bruise on her forehead. Shortly after she arrived at the hospital, 9 month old Tila was pronounced dead. It was only after this child’s death that Kelly decided she should probably come clean about the incidents regarding his history of abuse.

Just a tad too late there Kelly, don’t you think? And just so none of you are truly disappointed, she did use the age old excuse, [he] “is a completely different person when he is consuming alcohol.” *Sigh* Should have realized that 9 months ago, honey. You’re equally responsible for the death of your daughter.

Lance is facing 13 charges: two counts of felony domestic assault, three counts of neglect of a child, three counts of child endangerment, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. These are all stemming from the incident surrounding the death of his daughter. Lucky Lance also faces an additional third-degree assault, child endangerment, two counts of domestic assault, all from the NovemberNovember reviews incident when baby Tila suffered a skull fracture.

That piece of shit should have been shot the first time he punched that pregnant girl in the stomach.

It looks like their Myspace pages explain a lot. Hers states “All about me”, while his is definitely showing what a gangsta he is. They are both apparently cream of the crop and should be afforded the appropriate respect.

Since neither have any respect for human life, I’m not sure a lot of value should be placed on their own existence. The male should not see the outside of prison walls again, and the female should receive equal treatment as a sex offender. Keep her ignorant ass away from children, she’s not intelligent enough to care for children, and I can’t imagine anyone wanting her around theirs.

It’s truly sad that humans, with all our achievements, can often times fall so low on the evolutionary ladder of intelligence. It’s sad we have monsters like this sitting at home drinking and killing their own children, while we have good, strong, intelligent men and women living in fear, being shot at daily, and dying, in foreign countries.

We often times hear about a persons upbringing, and how it has effected their judgment, personality, attitude, etc., but I call bullshit. People like these two know right from wrong, but where is their built in instinct for the survival of life?

That she is coming clean after the child’s death smacks, to me, of CYA. I hope the cops see through what I consider to be a very transparent tactic, and throw the book at her as well.

Knowing he was violent and really didn’t want Tila to begin with, knowing he had just gotten out of jail for his abusive behavior, having felt the physical pain of his abuse again – right there in his house, she leaves the baby there anyway? I don’t know how many times I’ve got to utter, WTF? But seriously, what the fuck?

And somehow I see this spoiled little bitch hanging herself with her words. I know (so it takes some enjoyment out of those who will kick me since I have declared the knowledge of this being wrong before hand…!) I shouldn’t be gauging character on one’s looks – she went down to the police department and started in with her verbal diarrhea only because she was pissed at him for being an ass and not for the gravity of him killing her child.

Thanks TG and scorpiogirl for this FP article on one of the most complete, fuckn’ idiots I have read in a while. This woman has stupid on her everywhere. She didn’t give a flying fuck to keep her baby from this tard and undeniable harm. IT is all about her. Baby Tila never had a real chance with self-centered dwibs like this.

And this baby killer, oh, yeah, it would bring me immense pleasure to see this fucker nailed, beat in prison with multiple skull fractures.

There was a time when I would never,ever fathom one could bring such grave harm to a child. Alas, losers, assholes, bitches, idiots, mean mother-fuckers all rolled into one, that makes these two idiots. Throw a baby in the mix and you got one dead baby. Makes me want to puke…..

The useless twat of a mother was charged with neglect…

Nineteen-year-old Kelly Jean Friend has been charged with two counts of child endangerment following the June death of her infant daughter, Tila Friend-Ballinger.

The infant’s father, Lance Marshall Ballinger, 23, was arrested and charged with two counts of felony domestic assault, three counts of neglect of a child, three counts of endangerment of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A night of drinking and arguing ended with the death of the couple’s 10 month old girl on Sunday, June 21.

Charges were brought against Friend on Tuesday, July 7 for intentionally or recklessly causing or permitting the child to be placed in a situation likely to substantially harm the child’s physical, mental or emotional health or cause the child’s death.

According to the criminal complaint, Friend left the infant and her other child, a two-year-old, with Ballinger at his Onamia residence around midnight after getting into an argument with Ballinger.

On Wednesday, June 24 Friend told authorities that she had left her children with Ballinger and others who were consuming alcohol.

The couple had been consuming alcohol that night and Ballinger told police he had gone to bed at 9:30 p.m. on June 20. A breath test the next morning at 8 a.m., showed Ballinger’s blood alcohol content was .201.

Friend said she returned around 5 a.m. that morning and found the infant in the bed with Ballinger and could not wake her up.

The Onamia mother told police that Ballinger appeared to have been passed out. Ballinger told authorities he didn’t realize Friend had taken the infant from the home.

Two of Ballinger’s other children were in the home when authorities arrived. The house was in disarray, had a foul odor and officers were only able to locate a jar of peanut butter and some rice cereal to feed the two children until their mother could arrive.

Multiple bottles of alcohol were found throughout the house.

A 17-year-old witness told authorities that Friend, Ballinger and a 14-year-old had been consuming Bacardi Raz, gin and Bacardi Limon.

In addition to the two child endangerment charges, which carry a maximum one year jail sentence, Friend has been charged with underage consumption.
