The cop should know better. That’s not a crime of passion. A crime of passion would be if he walked in on his wife giving his brother a blowjob. This is a crime of a selfish, jealous scumball who thinks he has some ownership over other human beings. I hope those girls get some serious professional help. And, I seriously hope that the defense attorney doesn’t use that cop’s words to try and exonerate this creep.

Thank you. I have a problem with the policeman’s characterisation of the case as well. A crime of passion is something that happens in the heat of the moment, not something the perpetrator has been stewing on for a couple of days and which requires breaking into a home.

Me three. I felt a wave of revulsion reading that. It actually managed to momentarily shift my disgust from the murdering piece of shit to the cop. A “crime of passion” would be if he came home one day and found his wife in bed with another man, and went nuts. He broke into the house with the express purpose of murdering his wife and wasn’t phased in the least by the presence of his children. That is some seriously cold-blooded shit.
The cop is a fucking idiot. That crime of passion shit sounds like something cooked up by a defense attorney trying to prevent his guilty-as-hell client from getting the death penalty. But this from a cop? Why did he feel compelled to even characterize this crime anyway? It almost seems as if the cop was implying that this murdering asshole had a valid reason for being pissed off enough to kill.

Angela became a hands-on mom and was passionate about coaching her daughter’s basketball team, said Miller.

Protective orders are given out so freely to women now. The wife could have been a whore for all we know. All she had to do was claim verbal abuse with no history of violence to get a protective order…whether it was true or not.
She would be allowed to continue to be a whore while getting paid by the father…and in the meantime the father has his children and everything he owns taken away from him…without a fair trial. This is a very plausible scenario which could explain why the father gave up and decided to kill her since she had taken everything away from him.
There is a HUGE gender bias geared toward women in this country right now.
The courts should be ordering counseling instead of breaking up families.
Unfortunately this is going to continue to happen with our Divorce geared system.
