Many many years ago when I was about 12 years old, I had a neighbor, a single parent mom. I had been taking my kids to a small water park in Southern California because of this shit. Let me tell you it made no difference. The last time we visited this water park, my husband and my best friend’s hubby came back disgusted and quite perturbed. It seems that a father, well we assumed it was the father, was with his “daughter” in a splash water fall, and he pulled her top right over her head so that her breast would be exposed.He pulled the girl’s shirt over her head long enough for people to see her.

Well I marched right over to the management of this water parked and alerted the staff. I was mortified that this pre-teen had been exposed by what looked to be a grown ass man, could have been her father, or the mom’s penis. I don’t know, the fact is that it was done and somebody had to speak up for her. The staff of the water park escorted the man out of the park.Apparently, I was not the only adult that complained about the incident.

Now that my own daughter is 13, and wants a bit more independence…I will make sure her brothers are with her when she is either in a pool or a water park. Sickos..

Thanks =) Maybe it was just a stock photo in the story from a few years ago too. I remember telling off a few posters who felt that her appearance somehow justified whatever happened to her. But I also remember thinking “DAMN… parents of girls who look like that really need to have some extended conversations about propriety with their daughters.” My 18 year old daughter is very attractive, but she learned young that she shouldn’t dress (or act)like a slut unless she wants to be treated like one.
