page, Michelle Ann Douglas’ screen name is “The one you’ll never forget” and her mood is “loved n blessed.” Think she’s conceited? Proud? Obstinate, perhaps? Or maybe this cocky cunt is just plain selfish. Yeah, the last one works for me because I’m pretty damn sure that Douglas’ 18-month old child was the one “she chose to forget” and he wasn’t feeling very “loved or blessed” while he was in her and her penis’ care.

This last Wednesday, Michelle Douglas and her boyfriend Joseph Michael Smith, a soldier with the 3/187 Infantry, were socializing at a house with Douglas’ 18-month old son. When the host of the shin-dig noticed Douglas’ son was suffering from some very serious and visible injuries, the host immediately called the police. Police arrived and the boy was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital. Because of the severity and extent of the child’s injuries, he was then transported to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville where doctors confirmed the injuries were consistent with abuse. The boy was suffering from a broken arm, fractured ribs that were already beginning to heal, and many bruises and burn marks around his face and thighs. Police believe the child was hurt a day or two before Wednesday and that his mother knew about it and did not seek medical treatment for her son. Fucking heinous bitch!
Joseph Smith, 23, admitted he was responsible for the boy’s injuries and was charged with aggravated neglect and endangerment. His bond was set at $250,000. Michelle Douglas, 23, was charged with aggravated neglect, endangerment, and accessory after the fact. Her bond was set at $500,000. The child was placed in the Department of Children Services care and orders of protection have been filed against both Smith and Douglas.

I hope she never sees that baby again. Some people just revoke their right to be a parent! Hopefully she will get time for this but probably just a slap on the wrist since the baby is still alive.

Joseph’s bond is HALF what Michelle’s is? Since he admitted to inflicting the abuse, seems like it should be the reverse. Obviously, her additional charge of “accessory after the fact” upped the bail… but still, it’s weird that the guy who actually broke that baby’s bones can be out on half her bail.

I can’t believe that his bail is a mere half of hers. Maybe the DA’s Office just wants her where they can hold her. That way they can personally(happily) deliver the warrants for further charges after a proper investigation.

Bravo to the host of that party for calling the law! He saved that child from further suffering at the hands of those two wastes of human flesh. Maybe even saved the baby’s life…

Yeah that would be nice. Also I wonder who the hosts actually were, just friends, family, etc. If he had visible injuries did they feel that the hosts wouldn’t turn them in…..that or like others noted, they are dumb and thought no one else would notice!

Is her bond maybe higher because she has a legal right to try to reclaim custody of the child, and he doesn’t? Maybe that’s a way to keep the child away from her longer? Don’t know–just thinking out loud.
Also, if he committed the abuse while he was a soldier, do the military courts have any say over it? Because he might fare a lot worse in a military court than he would in a civilian one. Maybe that’s part of the lower bail for him, that if he does get out, he’ll have to go directly to military lock-up? Again, I don’t know–maybe someone currently in the service would know how that works?
