Christopher Wise Let His Mother to Starve to Death

Black Diamond, WA – Christopher Wise, 41, was a lazy son who didn’t have a job and lived with his mother. That alone isn’t a crime, but allowing Ruby Wise, 88, to slowly starve to death is. He lived downstairs while his mother was confined to the upstairs of their home. Out of sight doesn’t always mean out of mind. Wise’s mother began to wail and moan in pain. He bought himself a pair of earplugs. Her cries of pain and anguish went on for hours, for days, neighbors were disturbed.

Christopher Wise brushed off neighbors’ concerns for his mother saying she had fallen from her bed in April, and had dementia. I assume he made the diagnosis himself, as his mother hadn’t been seen by a doctor in over two years. Finally the cries stopped, Ruby Wise was dead, released from her living hell, weighing only 70 pounds. Medics found several extremely deep and open bed sores on Ruby Wise that exposed her bones. The woman was also extremely emaciated with “no apparent muscle or fatty mass,” the document said. The woman was wearing a hospital gown and an adult diaper, which was heavily soiled, statement said, and lying in a dusty bedroom in between bed sheets that were stained with dried blood, urine, feces and possibly pus.
Christopher Wise was arrested for Homicide by Abuse, his bond set at $250,000. He admitted in his statement, “he guessed he should have got more help for her”. Rest in peace Ruby Wise, your son has already put you through hell.

Expect to see more of these stories as our population gets grayer and older. Either due to ignorance, indifference, lack of knowledge or anger, many elderly people die at the hands of those who are supposed to care for them… the children they brought into the world.
On a darker note, not saying it’s happened in this case(or thati’s a justification), but in many cases of elder neglect/abuse I’ve read of, the parent had been abusive to the child now taking care of them. In a way for many of them, it becomes payback.

I just don’t understand how you can live your life knowing that someone is suffering and not do a thing about it. He could of just left her at a hospital for goodness sake, but he goes and buys earplugs???? I hope he has the same fate.

If you can’t or don’t want the responsibility of caring for an elder loved one then don’t. It should only be done out of love; and even then it is very taxing. Pieces of trash like this should be subject to the same treatment they gave their loved one.

How and why would someone treat another person, let alone their mother that way is beyond my ability to comprehend?
I am so thankful that I have a wonderful mother, who has 6 kids that all love and respect her. She is 68 and acts like she in her 40’s by the way she works.
She will never go in a nursing home and when she is to sick to care for herself we will take care of her.

I wonder what kind of baby this Christopher Wise was? A colicky baby perhaps? cried and cried on end for most of the 3 months of his life… Regardless, the first 3 months of a baby’s life is the hardest on mom. Seemingly endless crying, feeding every 3 hours, relentless need for sleep that can drive most people mad.
Yeah, thanks Christopher….for nothing. Instead of thanking your mother for all the care she put into keeping your ungrateful ass alive those early years, you show gratitude by letting her die a miserable, slow death. And I am assuming she wasn’t an abusive bitch, otherwise, Mr. Wise, you have a lot to explain. Don’t bother now, you can answer for it in Hell.

So sad and tragic. What a long, slow, horribly painful way to go. Geez, he couldn’t even be bothered to take a peek upstairs, then call an ambulance? Apparently she had no other family. . . .? My 10 year old son is small and slender and he weighs 66 pounds! I wish one of the concerned neighbors had called the police, though of course the blame falls on him.

He talks about her like she was a houseplant he forgot to water instead of a human being he allowed to languish in agony.
I do wonder about the relationship there. I can’t imagine someone who had any sort of feeling whatsoever about a person to allow them to suffer in that way. It makes me suspect that the parenting situation wasn’t the best. Regardless, no one deserves suffering like that.
This piece of work and his spineless neighbors should all be punished excessively. Here’s hoping he’s not bred yet.

Christopher Wise has an entitlement mentality, my guess he’s also an evil sociopath, too, born that way! Not much Dear Momma could’ve done, differently, in raising him! Well, of course, besides, knocking him in the head when she gave birth! But, then, we would’ve been reading about her being charged, instead!

I hope this prick rots in hell, i was tearing up while reading this story. I know I will be there for my parents when they need me to take care of them. They watched over me and when the time comes, I will watch over them.
