Alexander Cordell Says He’s A “Psychotic Killer”

Sandy Springs, GA- Alexander Ezekiel Cordell, 18, a high-school dropout with a GED, was dissatisfied with himself and his prospects for success. He was even more tired of his mother, 40-year old Shani Fecht, constantly calling him to express her concerns about his future. Cordell thought of a way to end the depression he felt about his life. On June 2, he went to meet his mother at the entrance of his apartment complex and he took with him a 9 mm carbine rifle which he had purchased just five days prior.

When Cordell’s mother arrived at the gate of his apartment complex, she greeted her son and said, “Hey. How’s it going?” Cordell said he told her to hang on while he went to his Jeep to grab the apartment gate access card. Cordell grabbed his rifle from his Jeep and returned to his mother’s vehicle. He smirked at her, said, “That was a lie,”and then opened fire. Cordell shot into his mother’s vehicle nine times while it rolled backwards into the roadway. He emptied the entire weapon into his mother’s vehicle until he was positive she was dead. I can’t even imagine what her last thoughts were. Why? That’s all I keep hearing in my head.
Eight hours later, a SWAT team surrounded Cordell’s vehicle parked at a nearby shopping center. Cordell was sitting in his Jeep along with the rifle and a receipt showing he had purchased the weapon five days prior. AlexanderAlexander reviews
“Zeke” Cordell was arrested without incident and charged with the murder of his mother with no bail. Cordell asked the officer who transported him “Can I ask you a question, am I going away for a long time? If I do go away for a long time I would like it to be in a hospital.” Recently, Cordell admitted to the police that he had killed his mother and even described himself as a “psychotic killer”. He said murdering her gave him and “adrenaline rush” and he laughed and chuckled about the incident. Sadistic bastard. The police are not saying much about the motive, but friends believe Cordell was upset about moving to Florida. His mother’s second husband, Mike Fecht, got a job in Miami and he was there looking for a house the day Shani was killed.
Shani Fecht was a well-known and well-liked graduate of Ringgold High School. Mike Fecht said in a statement that his wife had the most radiant smile and magnetic personality of anyone he’s ever met. “Her laughter could fill a room of any size, and when she loved you, you knew it. She loved me and her son and daughter with every part of her being.” On her MySpaceMySpace
and FacebookFacebook profiles, Shani wrote, “I have an 18-year-old son who’s probably the coolest kid/young man I’ve ever known, I’m very proud of Zeke and look forward to seeing him grow as a man.” She also wrote, “I lost my mother to a violent crime when I was 21 years old, so I try to enjoy life and appreciate each precious moment.” Her mother had been murdered by her father twenty years ago. Tragic horrible sad story… YES my prayers to Shani’s family. So sorry for this to happen to all of you. Sorry her son was a piece of shit and so messed up, as he is trying to portray to people, What i really think is his son knew exactly what he wanted to do and planned it out obviously…..
We will only hope the son rots in hell forever for killing his mother and taking her away from all of her loved ones….

whats sad about this story is that the son how to show his psychotic ways on his mother. and also because her mother was killed by her father! This little boy has issues. he NEEDS to be sent to jail to be shown how he was stupid for killing his mom! and it sounds like he doesnt have anyone else! poor boy! R.I.P. Shani!

I just dont understand the mind of this guy. This asshat was right about being a psychotic killer. How can you so viciously kill your mother, and laugh about it afterwards? Jesus, I feel bad if I think I hurt my moms feelings. I wouldnt be able to sleep for days until I apologized. But THIS FREAK OF NATURE has no worries, and so nonchalantly says he needs to go into a hospital..what the fuck. I dont know whether to disagree with him or not. He definitely needs lots of help and all that, but also, I want to see him die in prison. NO DEATH PENALTY. why should he get off so easily. Let him spend his life somewhere until his mind clicks and he realizes what a big oopsie he did..if he ever does realize the difference between right and wrong. I swear, this is the kind of stuff you should be teaching a 5 year old, not an 18 year old. Then again, he is a high school dropout murdering prick.

What gets me the most is that this fucking asshole had the gall to say he’d “like to be in a hospital,” rather than jail. Yeah, I’m sure your mom would “like” to be alive, you worthless piece of shit. You had a mother who clearly adored you and accepted you for who you are. Looks like that was a mistake, since “who you are” is a psychotic piece of shit who deserves to be in “pound me in the ass” jail, not a hospital. FUCKER. BEING A PSYCHOTIC KILLER IS NOT THE SAME AS BEING MENTALLY ILL!!

This kid is a piece of work, but it’s not surprising with today’s helicopter parenting. This poor woman sounds like she was a good, caring mother that simply wanted the best for her little belligerent narcissist.
The whole thing plays out so freakishly, too. Why did he choose to execute her in that way? It seems to me that he’d planned it out in his head like a screenplay. “Witty” banter before surprising his mom with the weapon, serious overkill by shooting her through her car, taking dozens of shots. Was she a ninja? Did he think she’d be able to deflect the bullets once she was out of the car?
My favorite part is where he calmly discusses wanting to go to a hospital to serve his sentence. It’s a win-win for this kid. He gets rid of the nag and then gets to live a life of comfort and irresponsibility in prison or an institution.
It’s creepy to me especially because he looks so much like my brother at that age, and my brother was a bit of an angry, belligerent narcissist then, too.

While my prayers definately go to the poor woman’s family, and I do hope her sone get’s the help he claims to need…I’m just a bit creeped out by this. Maybe it’s because I live in Atlanta, near the Little 5 Points area…Sandy Springs is just a 20 minute train ride and a very beautiful city. I don’t know…you don’t want to think aqbout that happening so close to you…
