Tylar Witt And Steven Colver Are On The Run

EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. - Tylar Whit, 14, and her boyfriend Steven Colver, 19, eluding authorities today – both wanted for questioning in the stabbing death of Tylar’s 47-year-old mother, Joanne Witt. police found Joanne’s body in her home on Monday, and her daughter was missing. On Tuesday, arrest warrants for murder were issued for both Tylar and Steven who officials believe have dyed their hair black and are on the run in the Bay area. The possible motive for wanting to kill her mother? Joanne tried to file statutory rape charges against Steven Colver.
Police described the crime scene as “violent” and reports are leaking that a kitchen knife was the weapon. This based of a close friend of Colver telling KCRA 3 that Colver showed him a bloody knife he used to kill Witt. Neighbors state that this isn’t the first time police have been to the house, and another report has someone who knows the mother and daughter stating that Tylar could become scary when she was angry. Tylar Witt’s MySpace page has entries like:
“i feel like ur the only one who keeps me standing… and wen i brake down crying bcz im so lonely or i get in a fight with my mother… and theres no other comfort in the world i can turn to… no one i can hung and they tell me its alright… no one who sais they understand even if they dont… i dnt have any of those things… accept wen i get them from u… i need u in my life… everyday… to keep me from collapsing under tears… fainting from hypervenalating… or other things that will hurt others but set me free to dream forever…“
As for Colver, who goes by the name “Boston” (Myspace here), neighbors and friends are shocked and “astonished” that he is the boy accused of these crimes. Paul Matloff is Colver’s next-door neighbor and stated that he seemed like a straight-up kid and “never given any indication of being any kind of trouble at all, to anybody.” Brooke Mercer, a friend of Colver’s who worked with him at a restaurant, stated “”Boston is not to blame here – there is something else in the works.” Ahem.
Officers have searched a Holiday InnHoliday Inn reviews
room in connection with the pair and have informed the public that they are considered armed and dangerous. A friend of Colver (I don’t know if it is the same one who got shown the knife) said Colver may surrender to police. Ah, young, spoiled, ignorant love. Colver, looking at Tylar’s pics – in a non-pedo way, mind you – she is a cutie. But not worth stabbing anyone to death over. You are really, really gonna regret this one. You both are.

I have been trying how to best put this …. I think she killed her mother… just from thier myspaces…. I detect a strong hint of BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) in this girl…. If I can’t have him then I will remove any obstacle necessary…. need a movie reference Fatal Attraction… not just that though… her rant in her blog… and he would be in danger too if he doesn’t follow her plan… not to mention he is drawn to the darker side of things… it is probably a turn on for him… and makes him look like more of a bad ass than he really is…. I am personally very glad the mother stood up and tried to file statutory rape charges against this POS “BOSTON”. SO sad she got killed for it. But …when will these teenagers and 19 yr old boyfriends learn that they can’t get away with killing their mom just so they can “be together”. Now they can write love letters from Prison.
This almost mirrors the Rachael Mullenix case in Newport Beach, CA who killed her mom with her boyfriend and dumped her in the ocean. Of course when they caught her she said she was kidnapped, but they had a text from her to her boyfriend during the crime (while he was getting rid of evidence) that said, ” I love you”…. Right.

EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. — A 14-year-old girl and her boyfriend were arrested Wednesday as suspects in the murder of the girl’s mother, who was found stabbed in her northern California home, authorities said.
Tylar Witt and Steven Colver, 19, were taken into custody by San Bruno police at a Red Lobster restaurant about 15 miles south of San Francisco, said El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Craig Therkildsen.

SACRAMENTO, CA — It’s still in the early stages of the investigation as to what happened inside the El Dorado Hills home of Joanne Witt.
News10’s Anne Makovec spoke to a couple of local psychologists Wednesday afternoon about what the MySpace pages of Tylar Marie Witt and Steven “Boston” Paul Colver may say about them. The pair are accused in the murder of Joanne Witt, Tylar’s mother.
Colver’s page has several images of a character he dubs “Lucifer.” Both teens’ pages include references to death.
Psychologist Debra Moore said, “if you have a kid with a MySpace page that has references to hopelessness, to death, to violence, then . . . you get a couple of risk points for that.”
More importantly, however, Moore said parents need to recognize whether or not your child can problem solve and “basically, knows how to meet life’s challenges.”
Moore did say that what might be considered “dark images” are sometimes a part of teen culture. That alone shouldn’t be immediate cause for concern.

I’m also leaning towards HER doing it. The one article linked here said that Tylar was booked into Juvie on May 18th for assaulting her mother. Sounds to me like a build-up to the final showdown – and the bf was just there for “moral” or physical support.

I guess I’m not hip to kids these days, but is that some kind of gang sign? Is she trying to be something she is not? She most likely talked the guy into the murder so she can claim she is innocent and was kisnapped through the whole ordeal.
