Lowell Litton, School Principal, Likes Them Young

CENTERVILLE, Md. – Mr. Litton, 39, is the principal of Eastern Shore Junior Academy an accredited Seventh day Adventist school. He was just recently arrested for allegedly entering into an illegal relationship with a 14-year-old girl. No word on whether or not this girl is a student of his or not, but it was released that they have known each other for approximately four years. They don’t mention her being a relative, and I would assume that a family friend would have noticed something by now, but I would almost bet that this girl was a past student. 

Police began investigating Lowell after receiving a complaint regarding his relationship with the girl. He was brought in for questioning at which time he admitted to a relationship that consisted of several sexual incidents in places throughout Maryland and Delaware. Police also seized his computer and several printed documents Monday. Lowell has been charged with third-degree sex offense, fourth-degree sex offense and sex abuse of a minor. He is currently being held on $25,000 bond at Kent County Detention Center.

“Obviously this is an unfortunate circumstance, but it is a true wake-up call for parents to know who their children are associating with,” said police spokeswoman Elena Russo.
