John Reese Ripped Off His Mom’s Wallet, And Her Ear

Gibsonville, North Carolina–He broke into her home around 6:00 Tuesday evening, bound in her duct tape, and beat her with a bat. For almost 10 hours, the woman lay there in her home, hog-tied, while her son beat the ever-lovin’ shit out of her. He repeatedly beat her in the chest and head with a baseball bat. The fucker tore her ear right off of her head. He ripped her off, stealing her wallet and money, and left the home. Despite her numerous injuries, the woman managed to break free at about 3:45 a.m., and sought help from a neighbor.

say the woman is doing remarkebly well, considering the circumstances, and was set to be discharged today. I have no idea whether her ear was stitched back on to her head or not. The search was on for her asshole son.
Thanks to tips from the community, investigators were able to track down the woman’s son, 39-year-old John Woodrow Reese Jr. He was booked into jail on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, breaking and entering, first-degree kidnapping and assault on a female. He was placed in the Alamance County jail under $200,000 bond. John’s criminal record dates back to 1989, when he was convicted of attempted rape. In 2001, Reese was convicted of several forgery, uttering and employment-security-violation charges. In October 2008, he was convicted of forgery and uttering forged papers…he stole his mother’s checkbook and forged checks. Helen Reese reported the incident. While police don’t yet have a motive for the attack, they do believe money and drugs might have been factors. No shit? Ya think? Ungrateful bastard…

Though laws vary from state to state, unlawful imprisonment is similar to kidnapping, but involves the restraint of a person as opposed to an abduction. Which would be the case here.

Under federal and state law, kidnapping is commonly defined as the taking of a person from one place to another against his or her will, or the confining of a person to a controlled space (which is the situation here). So even if she wasnt removed from her home its still consider kidnapping.

Altho the mom gave birth to him, its unfair to hold her accountable. It would be interesting to know more about her bio and how her other kids turned out. I know her heart is broken over this ordeal.
looks like she learned from previous events and was saying “NO” - she’s a fighter and hopefully she will have some peace now they have him behind bars.
