Nampa, Idaho–Mario Gonzalez is quite the little bad-ass…he wasn’t about to let his girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter get the best of him. No siree. He totally showed that little girl who’s boss. How dare she behave like a toddler, anyway? I mean…isn’t she old enough by now to take care of her own needs? Doesn’t she know that her crying and whining only gets on Mario’s last nerve? Hell…we should have her mugshot up here.

Mario Gonzalez
Last Friday, police got a call from Mercy Medical Center in Nampa. They were treating a toddler for a spiral fracture in her left arm and were concerned that the child may have been abused. The police interviewed the child’s mother and her boyfriend at the hospital. They must have had a pretty good story because no arrests were made. A bit later, someone at the hospital realized that the same child had been treated for a broken right arm about 10 days earlier. Hmmm…what are the chances of that? Authorities had another little chat with Mario. This time, the brutal little puke fessed up. He told officers that the child’s crying frustrated him. In a fit of anger, he yanked her up by her left arm. The child’s arm went behind her back, Mario lifted her up about 3-4 feet and dropped her after he heard the bone pop. A week before that bone-popping incident, in another asshole-ish attempt to shut the kid up, Mario yanked her out of her crib, by her right arm, breaking that one as well. The broken arm did nothing to soothe the infant, so Mario figured that putting a cigarette out on her little toe might help take her mind off the broken arm. He admitted to stubbing out a cigarette on the child’s big toe about 15 times. She still wouldn’t stop crying…so, he shook her a few times and punched her in the stomach. How’d that work out for ya, Mario? Ya pussy…
Officials say that the mother apparently knew about the injuries the child sustained, but at this point prosecutors don’t plan to pursue charges. Seems that she believed Mario’s skewed version of events about the broken arms, but I’m curious as to how he explained away the cigarette burns. Mario Gonzalez Jr., 23, was booked on two counts of felony aggravated battery. His bond was set at $250,000.
